I'm thinking of seeing Human Nature at the IP this trip on the Sunday night-I love Motown and the reviews are fab. Well probably bok on the day at the Bill's tickets for tonight (or whatever it is called) unless anyone has better advice ?

Goldstar sell them in advance for 50% off, though there is a fee - $6 or $7 depending on the type of seats.

I booked my D&M tickets with Best of Vegas and got the VIP pass for 20% off Alize among other places, but I think they discount was only for the main floor and not VIP.

Tix4Tonight didn't sell Human Nature when we were there. If you don't want to go the Goldstar route then VegasTix4Less had them at a bit less than half off. They are at O'Shea's and Showcase Mall.

We used them last time, but might go with Goldstar this time.

    It's a great show.

    hmm... tough one

i'd be tempted to go for NYNY out of those... the rooms are fairly easy to get to from the casino, you're not far from the free monorail down to Luxor / Mandalay Bay, you're only over the road from MGM and am i correct in thinking there's a free monorail from Monte Carlo up to Bellagio so you'd be right next to that?

re: the freebies, have a look at what you're most likely to use to see whether they're actually much 'benefit' :)

having said the above, i've never stayed in the cheapest rooms in NYNY and MGM... only within Luxor (which we found to be fine) (tbh, yet to stay in MGM - its next trip for us but i've heard the rooms are a bit of a trek)

tough choice - i reckon you should get plenty of opinions :D don't think you could go far wrong with any of them tho!

    Hi Lexis,
The Wynn will not allow outside photographers in their chapel. As standard they have photographer/s in the chapel during the ceremony taking pictures. The holiday ceremony includes this BUT doesnt include any photos. You can buy the photos seperately AND you can upgrade the photography package to your taste, but this gets pricey (there are details on the Wynn website) We are not upgrading, simply buying some prints from their collection.
Our wedding planner has advised that guests CAN take photos but without flash I think she said.

Glad the tip helped you - $500 for the Wynn is AMAZING isnt it?!
    Steff;)

Thanks Steff. Any idea on how many photos they take for you to choose from? I've been reading up on their website, and the Simplicity package for example has 100 images to choose from. If that's the case, being able to choose a la carte would be great, and the cost isn't prohibitive either! :)

Also, the info you posted stated use of the "Wedding Salon", but I can't find it on their website. Do you know which one they are referring to?

The OH will be phoning soon, but a heads up would be great :)

    Thanks

    Lexis

    Good choice.

Did you factor in the resort fees at Luxor and NYNY when you worked out the total?

Potential hotel bargain on Atlaschoice - just been looking for 7 nights in May on Hotelscomparison.com and it came up with Wynn for £518 inc tax.

Non-refundable but I can't see that price being beaten (£74 per night), especially the way the $/£ exchange rate is at the moment - works out $111 per night, obviously including a weekend.

EDIT: Encore for just £539, think I'll be having some of that !

Thanks everyone for the opinions on MGM vs elsewhere - kind of backs up what I was thinking on a few of the hotels (e.g. Ballys = a bit boring, IP = a bit minging!) which is good.

We initially had a budget of about $100 + tax per night so when we found the MGM deal for $55 + tax we thought it was amazing (includes the "222 deal" extras - 2 free buffets, 2 free cocktails etc) and the price made up for the location - now I think I'm just getting greedy and wanting even more for our money!!

If I see something good for one of the PH/Mirage/TI/Paris/Caesars level places, or maybe a Flamingo GO room (sadly the deal Luci posted recently still comes out at $89 + tax per night :( but I really like the look of those for some reason - maybe its all the pink!) then we may decide to change (and would perhaps pay a little bit more than $55 if it seems worth it), otherwise I think you've convinced me to be happy with what we've found already :)
