Yep, we saw Terry Fator a couple of months after he started, possibly May last year. Thought the show was great.

We normally see about 6-7 shows each trip, but I am finding it increasingly difficult to sit for that length of time, especially if it's something I'm not enjoying. I feel like I'm starting to get fed up of shows.

Have pretty much decided this trip to revisit shows that I have enjoyed in the past.

Going to see Donny & Marie again as they put on a great show and booked the tickets last night. Thinking of seeing Terry Fator and Human Nature again and that might be it.

Haven't seen any decent reviews for Viva Elvis so that, couple with the fact that I'm just not into Cirque means we are unlikely to go.

Might go and see Legends in Concerts again as it's a couple of years since we've seen it and we used to go every trip.

I guess you know what I am going to say.

    Underwhelmed;)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Is the seafood buffet in the Rio still going?

Also people have mentioned a great value restaraunt with massive portions but I'll be damne d if I can remember the name...could it have been Joes? or something crab shack? or pepperpot? I know thats a bit vague...

    Peppermill. :)

Oh, and yes the seafood buffet at Rio is still going.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I would like to see them - I think it would be a fun show...not sure how I would convince my husband though. ;)

I almost booked Jersey Boys tickets on the free upgrade to front orchestra deal on travelzoo...but a) it's through a 3rd party and I don't think you'll know what seats you will have until you pick up the tickets and b) watching a video for the show doesn't really inspire me that much.

Well I have something that might just change your mind :D

I ordered tickets last night to see Donny & Marie through Best of Vegas. They say they have main floor tickets for $90 instead of $114.

Well that's what they say although it's not strictly true. The main floor tickets direct from the Flamingo are actually $104 + fees, but it's still a saving of $18 a ticket.

However.............. once you select the number of tickets the site adds on a VIP Dine4Less card, value $29.95, free of charge.

I emailed both Best of Vegas and Dine4Less in case there was a catch such as a subscription, but there's not. The card is actually available to purchase at full price on the D4L site. It is valid for 30 days from first use.

I then thought it would only be valid at some crappy restaurants miles off strip, but no. It can be used at Border Grill, Binion's Steakhouse, Camelot Steakhouse and Hugo's Cellar among other places. However the most important one, and the reason I went ahead with the offer, is that it can be used to get 20% at Alize at the Palms!

I am intending going there for my birthday dinner in May and seeing as it's not cheap, the saving will be very welcome.

I called Best of Vegas to see if I would be told my seat numbers when I booked. I was told I would be advised by email within 24-48 hours.

I booked online and got instant confirmation and a voucher to print off and exchange in Vegas for the Dine4Less card. Four hours later the confirmation came through, but there were no seat numbers on it.

I called the Flamingo with the reference and I have got the same table and seats as last time which were excellent.

    http://dine4lesscard.com

I have just checked and the Dine4Less card is available with the Jersey boys tickets.

Oh, and the OH wasn't at all sure about seeing D&M, but he raved about it for days afterwards and it has been one of his favourite shows.
