Or base more centrally like Paris/Bellagio.
And of course Caesars, although you must avoid the Classic rooms.

For anyone wanting to fly between Vegas and another US city (and prepared to book straightaway), there are some very cheap flights:

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA--FEBRUARY 9, 2010-- For three days only,
several major airlines have lowered prices to $39 each way
on select routes from Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange
County, Las Vegas and other nearby airports.

Fares are valid March 15 - May 25. Travel Monday-Thursday
and Saturday for the best prices.

The below routes are among those now $39 each way:
    - Los Angeles-San Francisco
    - San Diego-Oakland
    - Orange County-Reno/Tahoe
    - Las Vegas-San Francisco
    - Burbank-Phoenix
    - Los Angeles-Sacramento
    - San Diego-Tucson
    - Las Vegas-Salt Lake City
    - Ontario-San Jose
    - Burbank-Las Vegas

Saw Terry Fator show last night. One word: WOW :T

    Ka on Saturday: excellent
BlueMan on Monday: dissappointing (I had seen it before when drunk and thought it good) exact same as last time in 2007 but was sober :(
GrandCanyon +ranch Tuesday AM: Don't bother with the ranch (it's a waste of time) flight was good and pilot entertaining (Roger from HeliUSA)
Superbowl Sunday : went to bar at 12 noon left at 11pm. Recollection hazy. Although I was invited to a wedding. Myself and my girlfriend were wearing opposing jerseys I had Bush 25 she had Manning 18. I think just about everyone in the pub came up to us about it. :p

    Home on Saturday :(
