Basic flights with Virgin Atlantic 18th-28th April

= £489 per person (the 2nd cheapest, difference is about £1.50).

Going through that deal, for 3 adults 1 room (deluxe)

    = $1,176.00 dollars = £734

    £734 / 3 = £244

    489 + 244 = £733

I had found the same deal through a comparison website for £689 but can't find it now! Might have been eBookers.com

Okeeeyyy via eBookers got the following:

For 3 adults 10 nights, 1 room (can't quote me for 2? Might ring them) including flights, hotel, taxes charges etc

    Imperial Palace - £596.37

    Ballys - £635.72 (Promotion also says save 20% on 5 nights PLUS all Free/ 2for 1 deals?)

    Harrah's - £654.93 (Promotion also says save 20% on 5 nights PLUS all Free/ 2for 1 deals?)

    Flamingos - £665.23 (Promotion also says save 20% on 5 nights PLUS all Free/ 2for 1 deals?)

Paris Las Vegas - £696.83 (Promotion also says save 20% on 5 nights PLUS all Free/ 2for 1 deals?) Do Paris charge resort fees?

Those are all members of the Harrah's group and none of them, including Paris, charge resort fees.

What are the Harrahs group like?

Has anyone stayed in any of them?

They seem to get mixed reviews.

Had a look at each website and none of the rooms look very appealing, but I guess the location of each is very good.

I've also read the Harrah's group seem to be quite successful when doing the "$20 trick upgrade" so may be worth the gamble.

Harrah's pool looks very basic, much like IP.

Bally's and Paris look very nice.

Flamingo's looks the best but it seems looking online they allow any tom !!!!!! or harry in after 1PM.

I'm still struggling as to whether to go for 1 or 2 rooms?

If we went for the 1 room, I'm guessing we would be supplied with a "camp bed" or similar?

If we paid through eBooker would be pay the whole lump sum now like with normal package holidays, or would be be expected to pay for the hotel on arrival/ departure?

Price up the second room yourself using one of the earlier links. I would suspect you pay upfront and its non-refundable.

I really dont know what you are worrying about, all hotel rooms on the strip are better than most hotel rooms in the world.

Admittedly the cheapest rooms at all the hptels are not the best but $20 will usually get you a better one.

As for mixed reviews, take them with a pinch of salt.

I have stayed at IP, Flamingo and Paris, I would go back to any of them again altho IP would be at the bottom of the pile.

Ferf has stayed at ballys "hundreds" of times.

I have said and Stoneman confirmed..Flamingo is def your best option for the pool,as for anyone getting in after 1pm i wouldnt worry about it as the pool and area will be full by then anyway. Also best for location.

Someone mentioned MGM, agreed the pool is (nearly) as good as Flamingo but the location isnt and the rooms will cost you more even with the offers.

Not sure about the rooms, if you had one room you would get 2 queens which wouldnt leave much room for a rollaway bed as well. 2 rooms is your best option unless you want to "share".:D

The e booker deal is prob pay now and non refundable, totally different to booking direct with hotel

    Edit

It may be difficult booking 10 nights in a roow direct with hotel though, I have just tried dates at Flamingo and the rates go up after the 5th/6th day although on their rate calendar the cheap nights are still available

that looks competitive for the Flamingo .

I have stayed at Harrahs group casino's and found them very good .

As for the pool scene , more people getting in surely = a higher number of single girls in Bikini's and a more lively atmosphere .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

More like more chance of a meatfest!!:rotfl:
Now if it's girlies you are after you can go to the "Go Pool" at Flamingo, it is a top optional "European pool" $10 to get in during the week for guys, girls free. Tracy and I spend lots of time there, simply because there are very few drunk guys, mainly couples and girls. the beds have cushions, there is free ice water on tap, plenty of soft towels, and a very nice girl in a bikini comes around and smothers you in sun lotion for $5:j
It's worth the money just to see the missus geting covered in oil by another girl:D:D

P.S. If you really want to have a ball, on Saturday it is $20 for guys and they even charge the girls, but by 12 there is not a bed left, the place is jumping, there is a D.J. drinks offers and they put up a poll in the middle of the pool and the topless girls take turns to see who can do the best drunken poll dance
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
