MarchWhile I'm really glad you got an upgrade at your stay at Bally's, I would love to be able to pick your brain on the comparison between Bally's and Paris standard rooms.
We're still going back and forth on where to stay our first 5 nights next trip before moving to Encore...part of me thinks try Paris, you'll be moving anyway...part of me thinks go with the known Bally's.
But for the first time ever we're checking in on a Friday night...so it's quite possible we won't get upgraded to the north tower at Bally's anyway...so maybe it is the time to try Paris.
I think mookybargirl rated Bally's over Paris...which is one of the reasons I'm hesitating on Paris.
Decisions, decision!
Ha ha ha, I'm just catching up on the last few days. You know that you're going to have to try Paris :rotfl:
Give me the choice 10 times over, I'd still take Bally's. The room size played a bit part, but as I said, we may have just hit unlucky (although did tip at check in before the clerk assigned our room). It's not even that I love the plain, some would say boring style that Ballys has, I've enjoyed all the hotels we've stayed for different reason except Paris.... so Caesars, MGM, TI, Venetian, but Paris was just so uninspiring.
Anyway, ferf, you know it's going to bug you if you don't try it, so look for an offer and book a couple of nights....Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

To give you some idea of prices, we have booked to go 28th April for 10 nights. Our flights were £364 each and we can get a Deluxe room at the Imperial Palace (the cheapest hotel on the strip) for £260 for the whole stay, so that works out at less than £500 each. Obviously, dearer flights and a better hotel would push the price up.
We have already booked an offer for the MGM Grand for our last four nights and are thinking of staying at another hotel for the first four, then moving to Imperial Palace for the weekend. At the moment we are just waiting to see what deals come out but are hoping to pay no more than £600 each for the whole stay.
Hope this helps.
Hey there where did you get those prices?
Cheapest I have found is £643 for 3 people, 2 rooms over 10 nights.
Having done research and talking to my friends our priorities are:
1) On the strip.
2) No Resort fees
3) Must have a pool/ jacuzzi
4) Ideally have a nightclub attached.
We aren't really bothered about the quality of the fit and finish of the rooms etc as long as they are clean.
Imperial Palace with the deluxe room upgrade for £1.99 looks about the best bet at the moment, though looking at some pictures from the outside it looks a dive but never mind, as its in the middle of the action.0 -

Yep, flights are coming out at around £450-500 per person return.
We want direct flights. That;s with Virgin Atlantic from Gatwick, so not much room for manouvre as you can see.0 -

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
