How long do people think is long enough in Vegas?

Me and my 2 mates are thinking about going (3 blokes in their 20s), and was looking at 7 nights but thinking it might not be long enough...?

    Any thoughts?

Also been looking at April/ May bookings, 7 nights, 3 adults 2 rooms and its coming at around £600-£900 per person including flights does this sound aboutt right?

We have - best room we've had in Vegas. We didn't try the $20 trick as it seemed too cheeky since it was free and included some slot credit...may try it next trip though. :)

Our room was identical to the one shown here except it was all swapped around the other way.

Im still to add Wynn to my portfolio......but Im a bit underwhelmed by the photos on that site. Was expecting a bit more glamour that than.....was expecting at least one notch above Venetian/Signature, but didnt look that much more special.

Fight set for 3rd April...non-title fight so not sure if it will be as massive in terms of crowds as normal...but we finally booked for 1st to 6th out of fear of rates going up dramatically in the next day or so.

I've been doing a bit of looking around for 3 adults to go out for 10 days around the end of April.

So far all in prices have been around the £700 range for hotels such as Luxor and and Monte Carlo (are these any good?)

For me I can never go for long enough haha! We usually go around 10 nights but we do like to spend time by the pool but this is probably around the same amount of time that people would spend gambling?? We dont really gamble that much btw. We have been twice and still have things to see and do that we havent had chance to on our other trips! I would say that 7 nights would be long enough to see the major attractions a lot of people manage to cram it all into 5 nights, suppose it all depends on what you plan on doing really. :)

Also I think most if not all hotels let you have 3 adults in a room for an additional charge.

You need to do the research...figure out what the price of the flights are on their own (look on kayak.co.uk, expedia.co.uk, the airlines' own websites)...then deduct that from the price of the packages - that gives you the amount left to cover the hotels to compare the package price vs. booking separately...then look at hotels (most will charge about $30 for each person over 2 per night) and see how it compares to booking one room for the 3 of you or 2 rooms for the 3 of you.

The first page of this thread gives this sort of advice - it's worth looking into. For 3 people you may find that it's not a lot more to get a 2nd room than to book 3 in one and it would be more comfortable for everyone I would think.

To give you some idea of prices, we have booked to go 28th April for 10 nights. Our flights were £364 each and we can get a Deluxe room at the Imperial Palace (the cheapest hotel on the strip) for £260 for the whole stay, so that works out at less than £500 each. Obviously, dearer flights and a better hotel would push the price up.

We have already booked an offer for the MGM Grand for our last four nights and are thinking of staying at another hotel for the first four, then moving to Imperial Palace for the weekend. At the moment we are just waiting to see what deals come out but are hoping to pay no more than £600 each for the whole stay.

    Hope this helps.
