October , NovemberI'd recommend going downtown earlier in the day, then the Deuce wouldn't be as much of a factor. Have a look around Downtown, then catch the 113.
If you are prepared to walk a little bit you could catch the 116 at Koval and Flamingo. It would get you to the DTC much quicker.0 -
MayWe've taken the Deuce from the MGM to Downtown when it was really busy and the longest it has taken was 50 mins. That was early evening so I would allow an hour to be sure.
It took us 1.5 hours to get back from the Premium Outlets. That was a 15 min wait for the bus, 15 mins to the DTC, another 15 mins wait for the bus and 45 mins to get back to the strip.
The Deuce is OK if you're not in a hurry and can be a pleasant enough trip if you get the front seats upstairs as the view is great.
Can't remember what a single trip is on the Deuce, $4? A 24 hour pass is $7 and covers all the RTC buses.0 -
AprilJust purchased from restaurant.com for the first time. MIX in Mandalay.Bay. Generally are these vouchers well received or are you looked upon as a cheapskate. Just see "REMEMBER TO TIP ON FULL VALUE" and "TOP 3 WAYS TO USE CERT: 1. order dessert 2 try appetizers 3 go for grand entree.
never used one at Mix but have used them several other places and never a problem. Vegas is the land of the freebie and the discount.
On the note about tipping - it's there becuase some people won't tip on the full value...some vouchers state that they will add an x% gratuity before discount. As for top 3 ways to use the certificate - some of them have minimum spends that would exceed 2 entrees (some people would normally just order 2 entress when they go out to eat) - so it's just suggesting ways to get to that minimum spend.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Junedoes anyone know how frequently casinos change their slot machines? Are the ones we played last year likely to still be there when we return a year on ?0

MayJust wondering if anyone can tell me how busy the direct flights get. My husband works for an airline and we can get standby tickets for the Virgin and BA flights going direct, but we’re thinking it might be a bit to risky being on standby. We’re planning to go in May 10 (probably mid May)
I know no one has a crystal ball and there are no guarantees but if anyone who’s been before has any ideas of flight loads that would be very helpful. It’s really hard to justify the cost of a full price ticket when we can possibly fly standby..
Thanks0 -
Maycan anyone tell me the best way to phone home to the uk while in Vegas? Didn't know if there was some sort of discount card to use, we are going without our 2 little girls so I know i will want to be phoning home all the time0
