the ones in particular are at MGM Properties, specifically Luxor and NYNY. The missus played them daily and she always seemed to win on them and she wants to play them again this June. First one is Bank Buster which was in Luxor and NYNY and I think might have also been in the MGM

The ther one was an annoying irish one that went mental every so often playing an irish jig and giving loads of free spins. This was found towards the front of the Luxor near the bank of slots where you could win a car and also there were a few of these in mandalay bay. I think it was called reels o'dublin or somethign similar

Bank Buster is the name for the progressive part - the linked machines where all the players have a shot at playing for the progressive amounts (there's others like Cash Express which is a train theme one) that machine she was playing is called Jail Bird - not sure if it's the machine or the progressive that she's after? I haven't seen that particular progressive set up before -but others like Cash Express, Millioniser, etc are quite common.

But if she's wanting to play those exact machines, they may still be around - may be located elsewhere in the casino or may be gone - just really depends. Both are old machines relatively speaking, so since they're still around, may be popular enough to stay around longer.

I'm editing now as my husband pointed out I'm talking rubbish...Reels O'Dublin is a newish one... I was thinking of a different Irish-themed one. :)

I've used one at Mix with no problems. Waiter was fine, didn't bat an eyelid at the voucher.

Do you give the voucher at the start? mention it when booking? or just produce it at the end when you have the bill?

    2 more sleeps :j:j:j

We have - best room we've had in Vegas. We didn't try the $20 trick as it seemed too cheeky since it was free and included some slot credit...may try it next trip though. :)

Our room was identical to the one shown here except it was all swapped around the other way.

I think some of them specify to show it at the start, most don't...I always mention it when we order just in case they have some rule that I'm not aware of. Just be sure you read the terms and conditions so you know what you have to order to use the voucher and whether a tip is automatically added on so you're not surprised.

    Looks like currently it says:

Minimum 2 entrees. 18% Gratuity added prior to discount. Valid with 2 Prix Fixe dinners. Excludes tax and gratuity..

Just checked my emails and a Wynn offer has taking our eye. Its for a minimum stay of 3 nights plus $150 free credit,$99/night Sunday through Thursday,$169/night Friday and Saturday. We are looking to stay Sunday to Wednesday and as an added bonus Also, receive a complimentary upgrade to an Encore Resort Suite King at the time of booking based on availability. The only way you can book is by ringing them. I know I've seen it mentioned before but whats the cheapest way of ringing the hotels in Vegas and what is the procedure for booking? Do they take a credit card over the phone for a nights stay? We are a bit wary of giving out our card details over the phone. Also what would be the going rate for Tax/ resort fee for 3 nights at the Wynn?

    Hi,

Is this a specific offer that just you are able to use or can you post the details as i already have a room booked at encore for october but this sounds as tho it could be better and i'm still not sure if i'd rather stay at wynn or encore so if i could book both for now that would be great!!

I've played Reels O'Dublin at a couple of places. One was at the Encore or Wynn, but I can't remember the other place.

Thanks for your reply Carol, very helpful. We have thought about flying to LA, may look into this a bit more. I think the plan is just to turn up and the airport and that the gamble! (no pun intended!!) it all adds to the excitement I guess ;)
