Buffy Cracks the Egg Diary 2010

And in other news I have introduced Mum to Fly lady! I gave her my book (my tatty well read bitten by hamsters copy!) and she has been reading it! You see normally when she goes to stay with my sister I fly lady the house - we have no hot spots, empty cupboard and paperwork is all sorted. However once she is a back for a while it all goes back to how it was - it is a big bug bear of mine cos I try so hard to keep organised but when it is only one of you following the system it doesn't work, but she has started to do the 15 minute thing and the improvement in the spare room is amazing and in this in turn has prompted me to tidy up my hotspots (put the ironing away) and so over the last week the house is looking better. Happy days!
Now I just need to get through this week at work and look forward to my week off (although 2nd job is still on it) and my weekend away.
Focus on the positive eh ladies?

Good luck with WW - ask away on anything you are not sure of - I am getting quite good at it now :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

*am liking the new look forum very cool!*
Right what news in Buffy land? Nt much - one huge piece of news my friend had her baby all is wel so far a little boy, I am really pleased she is ok.
It has kinda made me think about my life (ooo there is a surprise - I can tell you are all shocked!!!) I feel kinda free, its odd. She is the last of my absolute close friends to have a baby and I know from experience that she will drop out of my social circle and not go away for weekends or even met for a drink any more. I feel happy for them - I know this was their dream, it is sort of mine but I am reasonably sure that if I wanted it that badly I would do more to get it? and now all the waiting is over and so far all seems well, I feel like I can sort of move on? she is ok, she will be busy and I will be too.
I have probably said this before but I do feel like I am coming out of something. I know I have been pmting badly the last few days (so this could all hormones) but I spoke to my closest friend yesterday and well it has put my head back in place.
Work is still a major stress tho. Need to make a plan to sort that out.

Leave that for another day Buffy. You need to get some rest right now - now put that light out and we'll see you later.

Oooooooooo George is Back! the token diary man! xxxxhello hun xxx
I have had a BRILLIANT weekend, my only holiday I think this my only one this year - I am having as ever a plan but also trying to watch Flashforward so a little distracted. xxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Right the smarty pants amongest you will have realised that Flashforward is/was on at ten - I was watching a recording of last week's episode, now the current one is on, I am highly confused. Nothing new there then. Actually thought it was brilliant! I love that programme.
Ok so weekend FAB. had a complete laugh, I zorbed - was so scared but did it! Would recommend it, really clears the head!
Any how so on to the plan, it has been brewing for a while to be honest. Its all part of the Florida plan, with additions.
Aims for the next six months
1. To lower the debt - at worst I will have 4223 left at the end of the year, at best 0. Anything between those two is good. The reason for the foot off the pedal type situation is frankly I want to learn to drive, I need to fix the hot water and garden and possibly the loft. The proper full on debt busting in terms of saving and being careful will continue but I will have to spend as well!
2. To declutter - must be done, it makes me miserable. I do not need stuff. I need space. Plus I can sell on e bay.
3. To lose weight - through exercise and WW, walking to the station, doing my 30 day shred dvd.
4. To redecorate my room - as a reward for decluttering
5. To fix up the garden (as cheaply as possible)
6. To sort the bathroom and the hot water.
7. To organise my work much better.
The first 7 weeks will be focussed on decluttering, weight loss and (wow I really fancy the bloke who plays doctor who, like REALLY)organising work. I will have to paint the bathroom this week so we can have men round to look at the boiler etc.
So holiday will be spent thus, 2 days in work, one day in the garden and one day in the bathroom.
I am so sleepy now.
Any how after the intial seven weeks it will be the summer break(happy days) So that will be focus on the garden and the house - possible loft and my room so long as I have been decluttering and ebaying.
I will be budgeting and paying as much as I can off so don't let me go nuts people,
There was more but by crikeys I am shattered!

OOh that has given me hope- only 7 weeks until summer hols- Bliss
You sound very determined Buffy- i reckon the decluttering will be a massive boost to you- i always feel better after a good decluttering, unfortunately Mr.B is the one thing that still clutters up my space...any suggestions? All legal likeBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Can you not make him sit in a cupboard Bob?:D
Buffy re the weigh loss, I have just started a 10 week summer challenge on the DFW weightloss thread, just need a target for the 10 weeks
7 weeks till end of term..............GET IN!:jBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
First day of the new start is not going so great, the dvd player doesn't work so no shred today I am going out today (well if I get a move on) but have to go to work later so must look smart. I might have to come home in between which is such a !!!!!!!g nusiance to get changed.
Also Mum is tidying and whatnot and thus far it looks like I have done nothing ( I have banked, unpacked and had a small general tidy) I think she has the hump or is just having a sad day?
Ok, enough negativity. I need to clean the GPs out, get dressed and get to work (tidying) then out to lunch with my friend, and then back to work proper. hmmm.
!!!! it is 10 o clock already!
I think the Gps will have to wait. sorry girls
