Right been investigating Weight watchers meetings - weighed myself this morning and it was NOT pretty, even after two months of increased walking I have actually managed to PUT on 1/2 a stone.

However even with their on line monthly pass it would be 17.95 a month. Now I could buy the at home pack thing for 22.95 plus 3.50 delivery.

I can't really decide, at home will be cheaper but would I stick to it? I am sick of being fat and only having one dress to wear and not being able to wear what I like to work.

    hmmm.

    opinions?

How about THIS. It's cheaper than WW and you can have a free 5 day trial. Lots of people I know have done very well on this site and it really motivates you to exercise. HTH!

I think it's a personal thing. Have friends who have done well with both WW and SW - and others who ended up just paying to get weighed (which yoiu can do free at home!)

Personally, I have never done either. When I have sccuessfully lost weight in the past it has always been by cutting down on junk food and spending the WW money on a gym membership/classes

I think I have pretty much decided to get the at home stuff. I have done WW before - I do "get it" but the stuff I have from that (about 6/7 years ago) is now out of date. I think WW helps me eatless junk and do more(bonus points) otherwise I am a bit hapzard at it.

On the other hand sitting here now roughly trying to work out my points............hmmm can I really be bothered!!!

    Today's list

    1. clean Guinea pigs!
    2. garden - although it is chucking it down right now..:(
    3. sort filing out.....(big basket of mail to file plus school work.)
    4. move filing cabinet(before I move it!)
    5. mark 3 sets of essays........

I now wish I hadn't said I was going shopping Monday. I know it 'll be a full day one girl hates shopping and we have to find her a pair of shoes.....so its not going to be fun!

Any how at least the rain means I can indoor stuff without feeling split - that I should be in the garden xxxx

    Hi Buffy

I've said it before, but please give yourself some 'me time' - that's a huge list for a Sunday

As for WW, if you think it will work then go for it! But if you think you can go it alone why not put the weekly fee into a 'treats' jar - plus a £ for every lb you lose - and then buy yourself some lovely makeup/have a facial/manicure/other treat at the end of it? :D
