hey hon
Great news about your mum. It's always a worry when yu are waiting for results.
You'll be passing that test soon - enjoy the driving and keep visualising yourself with a car and driving around. PMA!
Listening to a great programme about Tatantino's soundtracks. He's so cool!
I should really be getting to sleep!

Been faffing lots tonight.
Driving lesson was really good, have my next one on Monday. Not sure how I am going to pay for it yet. Car was MOT'd and repairs cost £280 pounds. I don't have to pay until pay day. which is you know lucky since there certainly isn't 280 pound hanging around.
I have to pay that, driving lessons and oystercard plus a few unforseen spends on the CC - that is the trouble with me, once I am "skint" I do still revert to the CC using. I have paid it off each time(twice now) amd not incurred interest but I know it is the path to rack and ruin. .
I will have no spending money for the hen weekend tho.
In any case May will have to be a Super Frugal month. limited wages from second job, due to break, car bill etc.
Time to music magpie and the like.
too sleepy to make sense now.
see you all tomorrow

G'night Buffy.
Are you still overpaying on the loan?
It might be best to build up a little cushion so you can deal with things like this without resorting to the platice.
Good to hear the lessons are going well.
Well done. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -
I don't like Sundays, it always seems as if the day is really long but all that happens is I feel SO tired and so hungry and then so fed up when I eat the wrong thing or have to wait for dinner that I don't do anything.
I went to the fish shop, aim being to get one of my fighter fish a bigger tank. She is not doing so good. I am not entirely sure it was worth the money, this shop is so expensive.
Any how I spent lots - I can never get to the fish (will be able to when I drive!!) so when I go its expensive. A 100 pounds. on fish stuff.
hmmm. but it is better for the fish. I will pay in my £2 savings.
Got loads to do today no motivation. but hey here goes. I might be alright once I get going.

Cut the grass, cleared some weeds, tidied up. Haven't done my steps so after I clean out the Guinea Pigs and move the fish round I shall go for a walk.
The only reason I am posting here right now is because I want to make a public commitment on here to doing the garden. It has been in the past, a bone of contention between my sister and me -we have never said anything but she is the one who comes round to "do the garden" And I know (over the last three years nothing has really changed- they laid out a small stone seating area that took them about 3 months) that in reality on a weekly basis they don't do anything much- cutting the grass and planting the odd plant, the "flowerbeds" are full of stinging nettles and grass and it is looking very bad. they haven't cut the grass for three weeks. I have to butt in even if it looks rude!
So I am thinking on a Mon, Wed, and Sunday I will do at least 1/2 an hour in the garden.
Monday's job - Clear another bit of my flower bed and plant my lupins.
Wednesday - plant my seeds out and plant my indoor plant cuttings.
Sunday - Cut the grass and clear the rest of my flower bed, chuck out dead plants (in pots) set up GP run (not going to cut the grass in that bit, must remember to do that first) perhaps try and put the edging I bought (last yearI am really not a natural gardener!)
I went over to two friends houses last weekend and they had LOVELY gardens. I want one!!!
Might pop over to the gardening board for some inspiration.

Hi Buffy
you're doing great. I had managed to talk OH into mowing the lawn but he was delighted this morning when it was raining (insert rolling eyes smiley here!). I would love to spend more time on the garden but I have never really got into it. I guess, like you, I keep thinking I am here temporarily.
I too hate sundays - today was pretty hard. Good days, bad days.
Hope you have a good week - just remember there is a three day weekend coming up.

Forgot I have driving lesson tomorrow so the garden won't be happening. however on the plus side I have
cut the grass
done some weeding
cleaned out the GPs
sorted the fish tanks
done nearly 7000 steps
tidied my room.
I went shopping (and didnt buy anything but did eat out expensive pub food!)
I had a lovely dinner out with my good friend
a pretty good weekend

God knows how how I managed today - I couldn't sleeplast night, I was just going and going today has been the same although my arms really ache from cutting the grass. work was ok although I today I was working on a difficult aspect of the job with a woman who has so much experience and is SO good it was amazing. later I had a dept meeting with my hod, it just amplified what an idiot he is and how insulting it is to be "led" by him. but there you go.
I am at the point where I am too frightened to look at my Bank account. I am sure I am overdrawn but it is mainly the driving lessons (5 x 22) so it is worth it. The CC spends (fish, eating out a few times, social life has picked up again) are not.
In other news I have a tidy room, clean fish and a good driving lesson. I haven't done my marking or planning for this week tho. its ten thirty I have worked from 8 till 5 and still not finished. I did not stop for lunch or break I worked on the weekend too. Sorry I know I go on a lot. Its not unusal in myline of work.
see you tomorrow

The hours are really bad aren't they. Lots in my family are teachers, I'm an NVQ assessor and by chance we had to go on a course at the college and I really could not believe the forms you have to fill in now. Ours get to the point in about 1/4 of the time!
You massively overpaid the loan so maybe you wouldnt have gone over (or maybe you arent anyway) Mahybe give yourself a break next month and pay for the lessons with it instead.
Bet you never got to the Dr's, not long until half term though!0 -
Thanks Pippajo xxx
I am feeling really down today. I think its cos I am due on. Felt miserable all day. really just sad, lonely and lost
Came home to learn Mum has her heart problem back, she is on lots of tablets and the doctor wants to check her out again next week.
Between the car,the bin(don't ask) the heating and no hot water Mum has been really stressed, ANY change in routine she just gets so anxious. And cos she is on her own all day with her thoughts it just gets worse.
I am overdrawn(£43) but get paid Friday. THis weekend I must get to grips with stuff.
