Oh hon, I'm so sorry to hear it was awful. First day backs are never great but this is too hard. I want to come and give you a big squeeze.
I hope today was better but hope even more that something changes this awful situation soon.

. Know where you are coming from there, but from an administrator point of view, not an academic. I just hate being the person crapped on by everyone, when I'm nearly as qualified as they are and more so in some cases. Grrrr!!!
Career changes for both of us. Don't know if you find this, but when you are on holiday you become the real, positive you. One day back at work, you are miserable, demotivated etc etc.
I want to do awesome stuff, like climb a mountain, be one of those crazy storm chaser people, and just generally not be stuck at a desk doing rubbish stuff.
Hope you have an ok rest of the week

Hello all
Mum got back some test results today and got the all clear.
Relief isn't the word. really is not the word. Its been in the back of my mind for about two months. All these thoughts about moving out and money and stuff. My head has just been a mess. so bloody happy now tho. Still don't know what to do but feel so light!
Work was as expected, glad to see the kids. obviously my head was else where! but hey who cares!
*is just too relieved to type anything else!*
