    Totally agree with Z.

The more you excercise and run, the more muscle you will gain - which is heavier than fat. So you can actually gain weight when becoming healthier - i'd have to be like hercules for that to happen, but you know what i mean.

Just don't focus on the weight issue. You change shape when you excercise (or don't excercise :o) and this is a better indicator of health than just your weight.

  • Hello
sohow did my first day go?

    hmmm. not bad!

    Cons
could not sleep last night AT ALL hate Sunday nights always get so stressed about work
v tired so "napped" tonight - not going to help.
big dinner (chicken veg and 2 slices of bread)

    Pros
    did over 6 thousand steps
    ate breakfast
    had lovely soup for lunch
    had good lessons
    walked home from the station

The walk home was a little much mind you! Hilarious near death experience with a dog - he wouldn't go back to his owner, instead turned round and walked towards me - me bricking it (big dog - and I in no way scared of dogs!) and then sat on my feet and looked up at me with big brown eyes so I made a fuss of him! I did think for a minute my time was up!

So I did my exercise and i haven't eaten too badly.

and now to work! ( I woke up about 1/2 an hour ago!!!)

Hey Buffy, if you don't already run, pop over to the running club on the forum they are very friendly towards beginners ( i'm not a beginner but everything shows good advice).
They can help you set achievable goals.
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D

Buffy - be kinder to yourself :A An early night with a good (non work related) book sounds a better plan :)
