Hi Buffy
I heard the Radio 4 programme as well and shed a few tears. It's an issue close to my heart and I hope one day to do some fundraising and maybe campaigning for better care and support for people with mental health problems and their carers.
Anyway, I hope you're taking care of yourself. I've got everything crossed for your Mum, I really hope she's ok.
Like Shoe Gal, there's no chance of me not realising when pay day is. Approximately a week after pay day I usually start counting down to the next one!
Take care

Went a funeral today. You forget how apt the term grief stricken is until you see it on a face you know so well for smiling and see it full of pain. It honestly is a terrible thing. The worst. It was a comforting ceremony. the ritual is good I think. It doesn 't help exactly but it carries you through...something, another day I guess.
I have marking to do. I should have booked a driving lesson. I had a migraine this morning (from about 1 oclock onwards) Got sent home from work at 9.20 not the best day.
Have a busy couple of days coming up as well. oh dear.
Life will have to wait till the weekend

Hopefully as your fiend's father was ill for a long time they can take some comfort that he is no longer in pain. It's not much but it may be a small comfort.
