  • Morning all
Have woken up feeling ill. Just a cold but with a real special sore throat. Its been coming for days hit me now. Room going round and everything.

Thanks for all the lovely posts last night. I am going to just keep as busy as possible and try not to think about any of it. i am truly fed up with my life. I know I sound self pitying but if I can't sound self pitying in my diary well where can I sound it!!

It just seems so crap that I was just getting things back to normal, dealing with work, getting a social life again and I am here again standing on the edge of something waiting and seeing what it is. A completely selfish reaction I grant you. Mum doesn't seem too worried but she is an expert at hiding her feelings and I don't think my sisters have a clue.

I have woken up for the last three days feeling bloody awful, any one got a magic potion to make my "cold" disappear?

Am eating tinned peaches for breakfast, seem to be making my throat better. Hot shower me thinks and then the list.

    xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

*Never* ask blokes for some "special medicine" to help ease a sore throat...:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Went to see my friend today, the one who's Mum has died. That was hard. There is a strength in women you just don't get in men. No ego no fuss, just get on with what needs to be done. We could save the world like that!

I am so glad things are better between Mum and me. We are so similar. I am lucky. very lucky.

I am also tired but must go to work so instead of sitting here I shall go do something. Plus which my sister is round. hmm.

    see you all later.
