I believe it's common in the states, IIRC (immunisation for chicken pox). At least I remember reading about it a few years back when we were living there, but at that point it had already been through our house. I suppose it's something we'll see again over the next few years.

    my kids do you want?
  • Was working today so not much done, time I get ready for work, get kids organised, get to work then home again its tea-time, after we've had dinner don't feel like doing much although have managed to keep on top of the ironing and filled the dishwasher. Working again tomorrow then off for 2 days, so some major tidying needing done Thursday and Friday, need to make a list

Managed loads yesterday as we finally got a call from the letting agent to say someone was finally coming to inspect the mould in our bedroom - its only been three months since we started reporting it. So had mad surge and got room looking as good as it can with all stuff boxed up and moved away from walls.

    Todays list

    Mould man appointment
    Washing x 2
    Dryer x1
    Ikea - jars for flour
    Cinema with kids
    Cook dinner
    Post office
    hang wet washing

Done very well this morning. So far I have
    - got me and kids dressed
    - made beds
    - made pancakes!
    - washed up
    - put WM and TD on
    - folded and put away laundry mountain
    - made Lasagne for tonight
    - swept kitchen

Now I can take kids over to my Mums (if DS1 is feeling ok) without feeling guilty.

DH is in a foul mood as we got a letter from the Landlords (church next door) the other day asking us to clear our stuff out of half the double garage so they can store stuff in it. There was never an agreement that they could do this, we said we'd let them keep a few things in there that they need for youth clubs (there's still 2 sofas and an aquarium in there that they were meant to move before we moved in!) but the only reason DH wanted to live here was because of the double garage so he's fuming now they've said they want HALF! He's says he's going to call and complain later which worries me as he's not very diplomatic and our tenancy is up for renewal in 2 months!

Gosh fabulous! Next week I will have one back at school and one at nursery for two and a half days I during those times I will be seriously working to grow my business (with my toddler helping me to meet more people). I have such a great opportunity to share and I think I have only just realised that I am not sharing it to its full potential  so I really will have to be organised to fit everything in! That is why my lists are big this week for housey stuff - to clear the way for next week!
