Yes you can qoute from two messages click the multi quote buttons on the message you want to quote then click the reply button and they are all there. (Multi quote is the one with " marks, :)
As for bicarb, I go through loads, especially since my DS11 started watching How clean is your house, now every time I try to do anything he tells me I should use bicarb instead. :D

How about a childs cutlery set, you can often get them engraved with the childs name. I have bought several from Studio catalogue and also HSamuel too.

Thank you so much. I knew the 2 quotes must be easy!
I hadn't thought about a cutlery set! I will look at them thanks. I think I might have left it too late to be engraved though.

Right, I am feeling good today. DH got loads of boxes of books and videos out the loft and we have had a good sort out. I think I have now have enough stuff to do a carboot (never done one before so a bit worried but I would like to make a bit of money out of all our stuff as alot of the books are popular best sellers etc so would sell easily). Just trying to find out if there are any local carboots on next weekend.
We are making room so that ds can move his new big boy room :) which is currently the spare room/junk room :rotfl: so that the nursery is ready for the baby. So much to do! and we have sooo much 'stuff'!! Not sure where it all comes from!!

I have loads of stuff I want to take to a boot sale but have to admit I have no idea where to start. Its a really daunting idea that just keeps getting put off till "next" week. :)

    Hi all

    Hope all is well.

I've been prompted by Flylady to do lots of decluttering so the flat is looking a lot bigger.

Tomorrow is quite busy with a haircut and an extra yoga class so I don't think I'll be up for doing too much housework after all that. So, with that in mind I did the weekly hoovering today - in advance  - I know it doesn't sound like much but if you knew me then you would know I would use tomorrow as an excuse to not do anything else at all, then spend the whole week feeling bad about it. So progress :j

DS informed me today that there's 321 days until Christmas. The boy's a genius at times. He worked it out in his head, not bad for a 6 year old!

Take care everyone, and enjoy the remainder of the weekend!

Can I ask what you have got as a pressie to take with you? I am going to one next week for a baby boy and I am stuck what to buy. I got a baby girl a necklace recently that she would be able to wear when she is older but stuck for a boy?? I am thinking a childrens bible?

    Um, I didn't take anything :o
I'm a bit skint at the mo.

I really need to do a car boot as well but going to wait until the weather's warmer - thinking April time maybe. Have loads of useless stuff I bought before I had J which takes up loads of room - including a changing unit, bath seat, baby bath, spare moses basket and loads of crap OH has accumulated! That will free up loads of space!

Not done anything today but as J isn't that well today I'm going to skip Storytime and stay in - means I can crack on with that list!

kidcat - 8 loads of washing and dinner for 12  :T
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

  • Morning everyone, still here and even fatter (didn't think it was possible lol) am now 10 days overdue

I whizzed around yesterday and done the ironing for this week :j and cleaned all 3 bathrooms :j polished all the house and all completely hoovered! so my list for today is a lot smaller than normal :T

    -sort paperwork into files
    -pay a bill
-go shopping for essentials for when I am in hospital for induction so the kids don't starve :rotfl:
-go find OH's clothes, he has a nasty habit of hiding his dirty clothes and then wondering why he doesn't have any clean ones
    -sort out my toiletries stash
-sort out my boys room (although I don;t actually have that much intention of doing it :o )

    hope everyone is well :)

Oh my atwitsend, you must really be atwitsend by now! Ten days? I made it five days over and have never been so unhappy and angry at everything. EVER.

Thank you for reminding me to add "pay bills" and "banking" to my list.

Funny enough, I'm ok! I don't like doing things in a rush, so an induction is perfect for me, I can now plan what to do with the kids and get everything sorted :j saying that, knowing my luck I will go into labour tonight or tomorrow :rotfl:

I'm feeling very organised! Last night I made DH's lunch for work today instead of leaving it until the morning. Then i got a plastic storage box and put the boys' shoes, jackets and outfits for the morning in it and left by the sofa, so all I had to do this morning was grab that.

Ended up with so much time to spare that I folded the laundry, put the TD on and washed up as well!

It's been snowing here since 9am and settled, FIL came off his motorbike and loads of cars have been skidding...
