Hi all,
Atwitsend - good luck! Wow so many babies due! Mine feels like ages away!! Although the time is going fast now!
Right, dh is away with work and I have a mate coming round tomorrow. I have basically tided up I just need to clean main areas - so i better do myself a list to keep on track!
Tonight:
Unload washing machine/hang on rads
Clean bathroom
Put dishwasher on
Clean down kitchen surfaces/dining room table
Tomorrow am:
Hoover carpets
Sweep hard floors/mop floors as soon as ds has nap
wash up breakfast stuff
dust everywhere!
Then have a nice natter with mate while the boys play nice (I hope!)
Right now I need adviceHow to stop loosing socks
I can never find any pairs of anyones socks. I can understand dh's as he doesn't wear a matching pair so matching socks of his are never in the washing basket .... but ... me and ds wear matching socks and I can never match them up when I put clothes away. I have so many odd ones and I am forevering buying socks! It is such a waste of money!
My idea is to get a laundry net that you wash delicates in (do these exsist or am I imagining it??) and hang it on dirty washing basket for socks, then chuck it in wash and then get the net out and hang socks on one of those airers with loads of pegs and keep socks altogether?? Does this make sense? Would it work?? or do you all have better ideas that work?? Please help! I am drowning in odd socks :rotfl:SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0 -

I think I did quite well considering I feel awful, I woke up with a horrible coldSo now I'm on the sofa feeling sorry for myself but sort of proud too because before this thread I would have done the bare minimum today and be looking forward to playing catch up for the rest of the week.

Tough decision to make - The house is in pretty good nick. Do I do the small things that i've wanted to do for ages, or go shopping with OH?
Oh let's go shopping, it's more fun with her than a paint brush
Managed to do a fair bit of the paintwork that didn't really need doing, but it was done anyway and looks better.
Hello mummy2mygirls - welcome and welcome to all newbies  and bonty can keep 5:30's - I want that extra hour til 6:30 before hecticity starts - is Hecticity a word?
Have a nice day all, don't work too hard.0 -

Need to get house sorted and get rid of so much stuff. Am trying to read through the rest of thread but struggling. Maybe because I know I have other stuff I should be doing but cannot find the motivation.
My list for today :

OMG when I write it down it looks so much, no wonder I am exhausted all the time, and thats a light day:eek::eek: But at least with a list I can see what I have achieved and it should motivate me to keep moving.0 -
Hi everyone, old and new!
Good choice on the shopping MOTM, you only live once. I managed to get a brand new lego set for DS from a charity shop this morning for £5 so pretty chuffed. He has trouble with that sort of thing, bless him, but now he finally has some he can practice!
I am still feeling grotty with cold and didn't sleep well but still woke up a whole hour too early. Boo hiss. Here is today's list:
- [STRIKE]post baby things to friends x 2[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]batch cook to use up mince, mushrooms and celery and freeze[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]change DS's bed[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]put cardboard out for recycling[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]load of washing on[/STRIKE]
- put dry washing away and hang wet washing out to dry
- wash up0 -
Hello everyone - I'm suffering the cold/shivers/sicky too but my lovely monster seems to be past the worst of it so I hope it's only a two-day deal.
Anyway, today:
[STRIKE]
*Put away all the laundry and clothes that are hanging around
*Collect recycling from home office and put it with the recycling
*Dishes (again)
*Collect papers/passports for trip on Thursday
*Read over and print out plan for paper
*Download introductions to other papers
[/STRIKE]
