Sillybillyme - there's no such thing as cheating - you just post whatever you like lol

I find the best thing about lists is ticking stuff off so I tend to add easy things or things I've already done just so I can feel good and tick them off ;)

Hi all, no new baby here yet, my money's on Saturday!

Got the telephone stuff sorted last night. Done a fair bit this morning so house is tidy as best mate's coming over for coffee in a bit while kids at preschool.

It's our town that those kids were found in the car yesterday so I'm not going out anywhere today, was bad enough when I drove past yesterday before I knew what had happened and there's been police and helicopters all night. Don't really want to think about it as I'm just about to have a baby (tend to avoid the news as I hate hearing about stuff like this but hard not to when it's local) so I'm a bit glum today.

ETA best mate's just rung, she's really upset about the above as the kids went to nursery with her two youngest so looks like it'll be a depressing coffee morning in the Ragz household. Better go get dressed while I still have teh willpower...

  • Ragz - how awful to have that happen so close - I'm the same with the news - it just upsets me. Dreadful dreadful thing to happen.

Look after yourself today -I couldn't wait to log on today and see if there was any baby news! Going to choose carpet today and do lots of things at school so no housework for me today - apart from quick bleach and flash round bathrooms/empty bins/load of washing on and think of something for supper tonight.

If anyone who has a child with an ASD can recommend any good books on the subject, that's be great. My best mate's son is in the process of being diagnosed and she could really do with some info.

I can't believe it, there was a reporter outside MY kids' preschool just now, hanging around evesdropping on the Mums talking about it, then he waited for me and accosted me afterwards to give me his card (cos I'd mentioned to my friend that my BM had a row with the Mother once).
    Cheeky git!
And the helicopters over the town aren't police, they're press, what on earth do they thing they'l learn by flying over the town all day!
Whole town is in shock and the press are like F'ing vultures...
