morning, :( to all the food talk. I had a tooth out last week and it went wrong. Roots are still in but that bit it healing, it just the rest of my mouth that hurts, all my teeth are now hyper sensitive - cant eat anything unless its soft, living on antibiotics and painkillers.

Any clotted cream left to go on mushy weetabix :o

Well done on the de-clutter, wobbles and all. As Milann said - are you painting your room before the bed arrives?

    Pippjo that sounds awful.

Hope it settles down soon. I think toothsmith is the name of the dentist who posts on the health bit of the forum, so if you need advice and can't get hold of your dentist, it could be worth asking there.

Thanks Se, i'll pop over if I need a bit of help. 2 dentists tried to get it out but apparantly my roots aren't normal, was pulled about for 40 mins so I'm sure its just bruising.

ouch pippajo - that sounds awful.......**passes clotted cream over** I hope you soon get some relief from it.

No plans to paint my bedroom at this stage - the paintwork in there is in pretty good condition, so no urgency. PLUS, DD has designs on my built in wardrobe, and I dislike my built in wardrobe. She also has a very dated built in wardrobe/cupboard contraption that is not the right size for the room she is in, and which she would love to be without.

So the plan is, over the course of the year, to take out her existing wardrobe, and dump it, take apart my existing wardrobe and rebuild in DDs room.

THEN, repair coving, patch up ceiling in my room where the wardrobe has been, and paint from top to bottom.........and buy a nicer wardrobe and chest of drawers of my choosing.

Sadly, the cost of this whole exercise is likely to run into 4 figures as the furniture I like is not cheap, and I will have to get someone in to replace the coving and patch up the ceiling plasterwork.

BUT once it is done, the two biggest bedrooms in the house will be much nicer, and I am sure it would be an investment because the layout of the furniture in both rooms would be far better than it is now, giving an impression of space which will always be useful should we ever move.

So I have a "bedroom furniture" savings pot, and hope to be able to do this during the course of 2010.

Scratches done - only 10p......banking done - child benefit is in, but nothing else to report. Payday is next Tuesday, so I only have another week to muddle through.....and am fairly confident at this stage that the budget will stretch, so that is good.

Hope you all have a good day - I am off work today so will just see what grabs me in the course of the day - hopefully more pottering, a bit of flylady, and generally getting back in control of things.

    xx

hi hypno, thanks for the clotted dream - yummy :D

I know what you mean about the bedroom furniture. My Sisters stuff is gorgeous but it is also an investment. We spent £1600 in MFI on ours pre-LBM, but we made a big mistake with not enough hanging space and you cant get mahogany look anymore to even try and buy just a double wardrobe with drawer underneath to help. Plus we should have built wardrobs on the wall between us and next door - not sure if they are "active oldies" or DVD fans :A!!

I've just had a wander around pigsback as signed up ages ago but never did much, do you go on there or still do dooyoo reviews for the extra's?

Enjoy your time off work hypno.
Sounds like a good plan is in place for the bedrooms.
Did you sleep better on the sofa last night? Nice to see your first post is 7 something rather than 6, but of course with both dd and ds away no need for alarm!

Pippajo - Pigsback used to be brilliant with lots of click thru's and comps etc., now it's pretty dire, I'll be stopping when I get to my next redeem (if I ever get to it). If you look at the end of the pigsback thread on mse, lots are planning to do the same. There was a Valentine's email yesterday with 50 piggy points, if you are carrying on.

verbatim, it was lovely not to set an alarm - I was still awake before 7, but it was my body clock that woke me, not the alarm clock, so it didn't feel so "forced" if that makes sense! I am still wrapped up in my duvet on the sofa....nice and snug - plenty of time for flylady later in the day :o

pippa, I've not been on pigsback since they changed the points....perhaps I should revisit it......and dooyoo is something that I should do again, but my brain got so tired with work/life, that I didn't feel I had anything creative and interesting to write about what are, essentially, pretty dull products! Perhaps when my head is a little clearer, I will give it another go.

Right, I have a big, daunting, admin-type job that I need to do - and have been chased on by those that need it.

I said I was going to do it last time I had a couple of days off.....and didn't, so I will commit to doing it today.

So, new plan for today is:
    • Slob about in duvet until 9.
    • Shower, get dressed, and have another coffee - all hopefully helping to feel human. (always a good start)
    • do all flylady tasks (kitchen and dining room) before lunch
    • have lunch
    • take glass to bottle bank and rags to rag bank
    • Draft notes for "big job" and put into some sort of order that can be typed up into a coherant document tomorrow.
    • Do yoga

Just remembered one thing about pigsback, I think they did a change a while ago to the t & c's that you lose your points if you don't use the a/c for I think 6 months, this is dredging the depths though, so could be wrong!!

If it is the case it's worth doing a few click thru's anyway, so that you keep the points you've got in case it improves again in the future. If you've not been on for a while there will be a few click thru's, but currently it's only odd ones each month!!!
