Morning Hypno! Oh boy, that big job sounds a right one .... hope it isn't too difficult. Is it still at the stage of the first draft?
EDIT - pigsback .... bother, I didn't get that email! I'm on the way to the next voucher, but still got a long way to go. I just do the click throughs, and the little daily comps, which only take ten seconds - I'm another one that'll be stopping when I get to the next stage.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
thanks for the comments on pigsback. Maybe when lots leave they will improve the deals. I think i'll use it like the other clicks, anything is a bonus but not stress if i miss a day due to other stuff,
Hope the "big job" goes ok. plenty of coffee!0 -
Karmacat - if you didn't get the email, there's a link on the pigsback thread to click on instead.0

I used to get most of my points from the comps, I thought that with less people playing there'd be more chance of winning, unfortunately they're forgetting to update them some days now, or sometimes there's only one or two. Also when they downgraded the points, it's worth less if/when you do win0

(Sorry for hijack Hypno) I clicked on the comp today and it says page doesnt exist ((please bring back shruggy smiley))0

The "big job" is doing my final statement for my accident claim......now that I have recovered (hurrah!) from my injuries, I need to bring everything together so that it can be wrapped up. My solicitor rang me about 10 days ago to chase, so I really do need to get it done. Plus, it will then be one big thing that I no longer have to think about, so in the "head decluttering" programme, it would be beneficial to get it out of the way.
I have all the existing paperwork here - I need to trawl through statements from others, and agree/disagree/argue my case/add things etc and put it in some sort of proper report that can then go to the other side.
I have no reason to put it off any longer.......so must just get on and do it.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Head decluttering - omigod, yes! *so* important, more important than any of the other stuff in the end. But, erm, your accident claim ..... its not been submitted yet? _pale_2023: the year I get to buy a car0

That is a big job, but you went through a lot and it is only fair to claim. You lost time and income. Plus the financial recompense (sp?) will come at a good time.0

Well, yes it has been started - but because treatment was ongoing we couldn't finalise it until I had recovered.
As I have now had some fantastic physio that has sorted the problems out good and proper, I can do the final statement and submit it to the other side.
We've had all the medical reports along the way, and initial and interim statements from me....it really is the final bit that I need to do.
I've made a really good start to the kitchen and dining room - lots of bits that don't normally get done, like cleaning the venetian blinds, and doing the tops of the kitchen cupboards - so lots of things that aren't instantly noticeable, but I *know* they are cleaner than they were before I started!
Having coffee now, then another friend wants to come and see "how I'm doing".....after which I will have something to eat and get on with that report.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Oh! I didn't realise it was that way round, that treatment had to be finished before the claim was submitted. I guess the interim reports mean that you know they're going to cough up.
And you have another friend wanting to support you f2f - well, thats a good thing, you know?Have a good break/lunchtime.
