My daily message to you Hypno - pah & pants :mad:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Sorry to hear about the valuation.....life's a bit of an !!!! sometimes and although everything's meant to happen for a jolly good reason, it's sometimes very, very hard to see what that reason is.

I know your yoga video's not arrived yet, but if you've got any other's it could be worth trying one tonight. Just done day 1 of the 28 day plan in my yoga book, and it really does calm & focus the mind when you concentrate of the exercises, I'd forgotten how good it was for that.0

Hi Hypno I am sorry to hear your news. I have not read all your replies so forgive me if I am repeating anybody but does this new information mean you can renegotiate with OH? I mean can he not help you pay the some of the existing debt now as it doesn't seem fair given the equity is less than you thought?0

Sorry to hear about your valuation Hypno, I was hoping to catch up to some good news! Its such a shame that they don't take into account just how much extra you have paid off your debts in the last few years:mad:

Ditto what the others have said Hypno- i also rather agree with KM, so hopefully a good solution will present itself.
Fingers and toes crossed for some very positive Karma re a bonus at workThen a pay rise, then a lottery win. Everything positive in three's.

OH has no money - and a much smaller income compared to mine. Asking him for a contribution will not work, as he simply doesn't have any to give after basic costs. If I were to ask him, he would have to borrow the money, which he then could not afford to repay. OK, it shifts a little of the responsibility but I think the end result could be disastrous - and I truly don't want that for him....and of course the children would be the ones to suffer, which I certainly don't want.
Bonuses are paid in May.....so I would be able to repay Mum then, which would be acceptable to her and would wipe a lump of my debt off in one go, although I was hoping to use some of that bonus money for a holiday for me and the children....can't have everything, but then what's new!
Ultimately I have to make it work - it is not the first time I have been put in a situation that I don't like, don't want and didn't ask for in the first place, and it is unlikely to be the last time either!
In some ways it is probably a good thing - the barclayloan will be paid off within 2 years if I just let it run its course, and the mortgage/secured loan will be smaller by £4k so debt freedom will still only be 2 years away. Whereas by consolidating the barclayloan and having the full mortgage/secired/barclayloan together, the whole debt would have taken far longer to repay, albeit easier in the short term.......

Well that is a better way of looking at it- you have a plan and i am sure it will work. In fact i know it will. xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

You are very and sensible and realistic...but thats some going when you are under the emotional pressure that you are, so you deserve to recognise how well you are doing in that area..I hope OH is aware how adult and dignified you are being about all this and that your plans re money have now taken a harder turn.
Take care0
