  • so sorry to hear that the halifax debacle upset you, can just imagine. i learnt this week that when we cry because we are upset that the chemical make up of our tears is different to crying from say watching a soppy movie or peeling onions. the difference is that a stress hormone is in tears when you are upset/stress which means that the body is getting rid of this stress hormone. better out than in me thinks...... praying you get a good deep sleep tonight xxxx

Halifax have done you a favour by helping you release the tension inside you. If you didn't you'd go.......

all over your new paint work, and think what a waste that would be.

Pah & pants again though, and as always a dodgy hug :grouphug:

  • Hi Hypno

Just popping in to thank you for your support and kind words on my diary. Especially when you are going through such trauma yourself.

Fingers are crossed regarding your valuation. You deserve some good news.

Well done with the decorating - you go girl ! Just be careful not to crash and burn hon. This is meant in the nicest possible way. I deal with my stress by going into cleaning mode, (whilst eating chocolate and getting as much caffine down my neck of course). I end up shattered and tearful though usually.

Sometimes silly little things trigger us off and this can be a good release in a way. you are coping with this admirably but away from this forum you must be going through hell. Hugs x

On a lighter note hope you enjoy the Take That dvd. I too went in the summer, (an early birthday pressie from some fab friends). OMG getting all hot under the collar thinking about it!:rotfl::rotfl:

Here's to a positive and productive week for us all xx

Morning guys - welcome to Monday morning.....

Little sleep again last night - but that has become the norm, so I just have to get used to it. I ache too, after yesterday.....which is hardly surprising!

Banking showed £127 payment received from the download site, so that was nicely welcomed......I will put that money into the savings to try and build up my emergency fund.

Other than that, no money in or out today......and I should be able to manage another NSD today, with luck. I've got two weeks before payday and have done well with my money so far......although of course I still have legal costs to pay in connection with the house/mortgage in due course.

I hope you all have a good day x

    Ty Hypno - you too.

I am off to look at some land with a view to having a house built on it - very exciting!

Have a good week, hope you manage to get a reasonable amount of sleep, I will be back next weekend.

Morning, hon. The sleep will come back in time. Once you know where you are with the mortgage and everything and can feel more in control.

    Love the darts idea Z!

Thanks Se - bit out of our price range so in a funny way, it would be better if it was horrible! IYSWIM!

Still a week with my friend is always welcome although unlikely to be very MSE!
