Assuming DD clears the surfaces in her room so I can move her desk and drawers etc, I will be doing her room next - while she is in Norway in half term. I am at work that week so will have to do it in the evenings.....then it will be the dining room as that causes minimal disruption and is a fairly easy room to do....plus I already have the paint for it, so won't cost anything.

I ache somewhat though, now - so a hot bath will be in order tonight methinks!

Oh, and I have some "patching up" to do in the spare room, which I could do in a couple of evenings at some point when the fancy takes me......again, the bed has gone from there so I can get to the bits I need to get to fairly easily. I'm not ordering a new bed for that room until it is decorated, otherwise it will never get done.

  • I love it when spring it nearly here the paint finds its way out of the cupboard. Trouble is once you start you just keep going room to room to room!x

I intended doing it last year, BTD, as the house has been in need of freshening up for some time, but for one reason and another it didn't get done (again!).......

It is also a much needed form of stress relief for me right now, so hopefully will be good mentally as well as for the house itself!

Just finished my weekday schedule, so I know when I should do the yoga & exercise, hopefully looking at your thread will help me remember to actually follow it. Weekend's are all over the place, so realistically will have to fit it in when I can.

Enjoy your relaxing soak Hypno, you deserve it after the first run for a while and all the decorating.

Glad you have found a slot for the yoga, se....I hope to be finding a new routine over the next few days too, and can start to feel in control again!

Afternoon, what a productive weekend! I know you dream of one of those houses, but you need to be happy where you are living too. And don't let go of your dream either!

Well, really it's just a cunning ploy to make sure Hypno does it.
(I laid the trap for running and in she fell! Shhhhh) :D

Yoga for me will be at a class. A friend wants to go and although it's £5 a week, I'm going to go, as it's brill for stress relief and will tone me up a bit.

If you are interested Pickle, I'd try the DVD Hypno recommended. I just know what I'm like in my own house, I won't stick with it......
