the lady told me they have set up a team to call everyone that has a order and its just a matter of time .....bofore they call i said bull**** you have not rang me and prob wouldnt of i could of waited in all day for nowt! gave me head office to write to but no emails of high people when asked for

Argos aren't phoning everyone. Some of the telephone orders had gone too far down the fulfillment process for them to easily/efficiently recall and these are the ones that have been delivered.

It's likely that if the package departed from the depot then it will be delivered, all others have been stopped.

Hi all,

i had a call back from Trading Standards this morning saying Argos were not breaking any laws but it was very bad practice and very poor customer service and they would refer my complaint to the team that deal with large companys, the only way the would act if large numbers of complaints were recieved.

The best advice I was given was to put my complaint in writing to argos and hope they would wwork for a resolution. It all boils down to Terms and conditions I was told. This was a different account than the one I was given last night from an advisor?

I was most anoyed by the Cs person I spoke to who told me they had not sold any at the £79 price which is clearly not true. And E.bay is full of them this morning which just rubs salt in the wounds for my young man who was really chuffed to be able to use his xmas money for something so longed for. Im sure there are many more kids very upset by this.

Hi. Placed order last night, with expected delivery Monday. Money has been taken from account. I'm going to have one upset little lad on my hands when he finds out as he bought this with this Xmas money!
