This has been discussed, by cancelling your telephone order, they are bending the law. However most people will just accept it and not fight it. Secondly when people see something in T&C's they automatically assume it is legally binding when it may not be.0 -

Legally they can't. Quote the Sale of Goods act to them. As has been said, the advertised price is what it is, and they don't have to sell it at that price whether or not it's a mistake (advertising standards may protest though). If you then "offer" them that price, and they "accept" then you've entered into a formal legally binding "contract".0 -
