I prefer Amazon, but have had a couple of problems lately. But still not anywhere near as bad as it is on Ebay.
I've been meaning to ask you Soolin, do you know where to find out about Tax for the self employed as I went on the Direct Gov website and it was pretty useless.0 -

Personally I would phone them I always find them pretty good with direct questions:

You do realise that you are doomed now don't you, you'll never be able to pass a book shop again without wondering if there is a profit in any of their books.:rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm actually only dabbling with books I'm mainly selling retro video games and memorabilia. My books are all cheat books and guide books lol. But I am certainly addicted!!!!

I started off by selling a few of the thousands of books I had in my own collection, then I got so addicted I started off buying things I thought would sell and I'm now fully registered with HMRC and earning enough for several good holidays every year and all the other little luxuries I have become used to.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. My sales have completely stopped, I even went in to check that I hadn't accidentally left my holiday settings on, it's that bad. I have actually sold as many on greenmet this week as I have all week on Amazon, 3 on each.
I'm also really irritated that my feedback rating has accountably dropped to 99% from the usual 100% yet in th epast year I have 187 feedback and all of it is positive except for one 3* about 9 months ago from the woman who complained she was upset that Amazon had sent her a second hand copy of a book when she was expecting a new one (my copy was sold as good only but she thought she was buying from Amazon direct). I cna only assume that as so few buyers are bothering to leave feedback I've lost a percentage point purely because the 3* has a higher weighting.

Hi, I wonder if someone can help? I'm quite new to selling books on Amazon but I have a book that just isn't listed. Do you have to be a pro merchant to add a new book? I can find it on Amazon.com but not on the UK site. Any ideas please? Not Buying It! 20150
