JackieO...nice part of the world your niece lives...you should visit and we could have a Cork meet!

Electricity has gone 2 or 3 times this afternoon for a few seconds so am glad that I have the wind-up torch and lots of candles, just in case, we also have a gas hob so will be ok....will have to light fires for heat as ch needs electricity. Water is pouring into porch so need to do something about a new one (bigger!) in the spring or summer...more money needed

OH cooked a wonderful meal tonight so I am stuffed and sitting with my feet up. :o

Edilass, I can't imagine where your hamper got to. Perhaps the postie just couldn't resist and scoffed the lot himself. ;)

    Sleep well everyone.

Do you know what guys - I never want to see a piece of blooming leggo ever again, 4 frustarating hours last night ending up in me stripping it down and starting again and most of today helping DS to finish it...:mad::mad::mad: He had managed to loose pieces of it and we ended up having to cobble some of the pieces from the huge box of other (built once and then forgotten) sets from under his bed. $**&$$**" hmph!!!

Minimal OS today, the house is clean and tidy, kids fed and watered and I'm relaxing with a couple of Baileys.........(well the bottle has to go before the first so that I'm not tempted ;))

Deccies down tomorrow and the lounge needs a good spring clean, the rest of the house will get a thorough do as usual before New years day.

Haribo - 1lg007hello.gif Glad to hear the chickens are keeping you on your toes. :D xxx

Pooky - Gentle hugs to you and DH too hun. xxx

Pen-pin - glad you enjoyed your break, I hope tomorrow isn't too much of a trial for you. xxx

    Goodnight all,

    Smoky. xxx
