NPM - DS has another assessment provisionally booked for 21st January - I am hoping they will give a diagnosis but we'll see  I'd be interested in any spare books you can lend me - will send you a PM x
I have just taken down the Christmas tree. We'd had to move it from it's original position due to the kids keep going behind it and where it had been moved to the door kept banging against it. Anyway it's gone now and I feel better for it. Taken down the Christmas garland from the door tooOnly thing left are the lights on the outside of the house but I shall leave those til the weekend.
Found what seems to be a nice thick memory foam topper for DS's bed for only £38 - will have a mooch at the link in a mo.
Have a good evening everyone, wet and horrible here so stay snug where ever you are.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Hello chums ,
meanmarie My niece live at Minane Bridge, I have been trying to think of the name of the place since we met in London
I have had a busy couple of days ,doning my New years cleaning duties and yesterday was out all day at Bluwater with DGS Ben.He wanted to spend some of his birthday cash so I dutifully trailed around the gaming shops with him. Then we went to the movies and saw Avatar, well I snoozed through the first half an hour.he loved it and I only had to buy his ticket as I too have a CEA ticket
I also had to suffer a burger and chips as that was what he wanted as a treat !!! he rarely get them at home Still the strawberry milkshake was nice.I really am not a fast food person at all.But he didn't fancy a sit-down meal in a 'proper restaurant' so as it was his 'treat day ' I couldn't argue.
I take the grandchildren on their own for a 'treat day' every now and again, and they can choose what they would like to do.It usually involves some sort of 'fast food ' as they aren't allowed it at home.
Tomorrow we are all going to the pantomime in Maidstone. The little boys are quite excited and the grown-ups as well.
I have been with the little ones all afternoon and the youngest (5) asks the oddest questions at times. An advert came on for the WWF for funds, and it had penguins on it .
Does anyone know why penguins waddle ?? I said its because they had such short legs, and that seemed to satify him. Mikey has a very inquiring mind bless him.Well time I got a wriggle on and started on dinner I think I shall have some chicken casserole from the freezer with mash and veg with banana custard to follow.Hope every one has a brilliant New Year, and to those who are sad may I wish you happiness to come
Cheers chums

hello! (sneaks in quietly!)
How the devil are you all? Actually no need to answer, I've been lurking for the last couple of months, so I know EXACTLY what you've all been up to. I've been praying along for all the sick and poorly and wishing hugs upon you all for your hard times, and urging Haribo's chooks out the tree, and laughing at Laura's drunken opening of the thread, and enjoying all your Christmas preparations, but I just didn't feel like posting.
So please forgive me for being such a creepy earwig, and can I please come back and play?
My NYR is to be mega OS and not spend my wage at all this year. What do you think my chances of this are? Hopefully now that OH has some work again, it should be reasonably do-able most months. I will be looking for loads of tips from you all.
Hugs to SunnyGirl and family.
Oh, and did anyone ever hear from Fairy Elephant? What did she have?
Hugs for free, as usual,

I feel DS is bored too. Weather has been pants so he's cooped up indoors or round at my mums - he's a kid that likes to be out doing things.
Meant to add I managed to get another pair of shoes for him in Clarks sale for £20 so it's not been too much of an expensive replacement for these ruddy missing shoes!
also got 2 flannelette sheets for £16 (they weren't any cheaper on Ebay when you factor in the postage) so will see how he fares on those tonight. We tried him sleeping on a fleece blanket but he wouldn't
