Hi I wonder if you can help- Im sure this has been answered before but I accidently booked a single room instead of a double. I cant think it matters because they dont do single rooms but Im not sure what will happen when I ring them. Will they try to charge huge amounts extra to change to a double?

Must admit,I`ve never seen a single room offered when booking, only family or double.

If you`re going on your own it won`t really matter what you`ve booked but if there`s more of you it could be a tight squeeze. :rotfl:

Like you said "they don`t do single rooms so it won`t matter".

Bookings all showing in "my account" when logged-in to TL.

The money still hasn`t been taken from my bank account although the difference between actual and available balance is the amount TL intends to take.

That was what happened to my account initially. £87 was being 'held' but it is not anymore and no funds have been taken ... ??

Same problem here. Just checked account and no money yet debited. I am sure that last year the money was paid on booking. Can anyone else confirm this?

Bought 3 at various times and places for £19, £32 and £49. OK, the last two aren't quite as close to the £9 deal as I'd like, but ultimately I've paid £100 for 3 nights where I would've paid more than that for one night at most hotels, so ultimately a moneysave. :T

Anytime I have stayed with travelodge it has been taken at time of booking, but I havn't had anything taken this time. I think I remember reading at time of booking it said funds would be processed now, but can't say for sure..

I bought the bulk of my rooms on the morning of the start of the sale and they are showing in "my travelodge" although the money hasn`t been taken and still showing at the bank as "pending".
The following day I booked another room, this also shows in "my travelodge, manage my bookings" but the money HAS been taken.
  • the same thing happened to me. just phoned travelodge and they said they had a few problems with the bookings. the money should come out in the next couple of days.
