You could try 020 76385501 - thats the number I had for Travelodge City Road - March 2008
Seems a bit of a strange number the code o20 is a LOndon number, Newcastle code is 0191
The only Travelodge i can find is the one on the quayside and the number is 0871 984 or fax number 0191 2017105make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Sorry all,
OP said City Road,:o
I am staying at the Quayside, Newcastle on Tyne, which isnot far from
City Road, Newcastle upon Tyne,
Now that the 020 number has been mentioned i looked on the website and
of course find out that there is a Travelodge, City Road,London.(The O20 number will be worth hanging on to, thanks;)
Going to London in June, might try this one. Any opinions on it and how far out of London is it. Is okay for a base for tourists.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Try this number: 0191 261 5432 (This is an alternative for 0871 984 6164)
Remember, if you have to ring an 0870 number, see if theres an alternative on saynoto!
So much for 'Money Saving'0 -

The City Road travelodge is great,in a good area not too far out of town. There is a bar/nightclub on the corner which might be noisy at the weekend so might be worth asking for a room away from the front. The nearest tube,Old street is a bit of a walk but we used the 205 bus which stops right outside the hotel and runs paralel with Oxford St,or you can change at Regents park.0 -

I have tried forever to get a travelodge number on say no to 0870 and there just arent any. I presume the number you have given is the Quayside one, I have to contact them re my booking in May so its useful to have it. Thanks
Hey, Brilliant, i have just rung them on that number you gave and it works for the Quayside Travelodge, saved me a couple of quid there bf,
Now if anyone had a Leeds, North Yorkshire one that would be great too.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Well thanks every1 for the help I got through in the end (02076385506) and spoke to a lovely receptionist and she has allocated us a room which she thinks should be fairly quiet. We were worried about the noisy club near the City Road Travel lodge but apparently its no longer open.
Hope to get a good nights sleep!
