Hello everyone, I wonder if anyone can help me at all...I have taken advantage of previous travelodge offers, and have had no problem booking a string of 9 pound rooms, since i have been living abroad and it has given me chance to come over for a weeks holiday...this time I decided that I would like to move accross to the UK with the deal, and so I thought I would book to stay for 2 months in Travelodges whilst I find work and accomodation

The system forced me to book a night at a time to get the saver rate...could add them to my cart and pay for about 5 at a time before it said I had too many in the cart...but it was a long haul...instead of getting booked up in an hour, I plugged away for 13 hours to book 70 nights...all separately

In case I ever have to do this again...does anyone know a better way....as I say, it seems this is the first time it has made me book a night at a time to get the special room rate

Of course, I had to move to different travelodges on different nights for the best deals...I got some at 9 pounds, some 19, some 22, and a couple at 32, ..I managed to average 18.63 for all of the nights I booked...so v pleased...but a very long days booking...solidly whilst the system kept crashing etc too !!

    I would appreciate any input.....many thanks !!!!

unfortunately, sale rooms can only be booked one night at a time, so i cant see any way around this

for speed though, it might be easier if you had two or more browsers open, and that way you can be checking several travelodges availability at the same time, or rope in friends/family to help you by giving them destinations and dates to book on your behalf

Mine has just been taken out 19/1. Thank you to everyone on here who warned me about them not taking it straightaway, because I might have thought I had more than I did, not realising it would take them 12 days to take money out.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

  • thanks for your help everyone...good to knwo you did manage to book a row of rooms Shirlsky...

Years ago I heard about the couple living at the travelodge...it will be nice to be 2 months with no extra bills etc when I stay...but I am not sure i am up for a lifetime there !!!!!

    This is a great forum....

I think you have to ring the central number, unfortunately an 0870 number and they will give you the number of individual hotels. (ive never been able toget a generic number for travelodge.
Take no notice of the original post, its from December 09

We managed to get 2 nights at Travelodge on the Quayside Newcastle for
    £19 per night, brilliant bargain.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
