I'd lick your wounds for you but as you have scorned my dinner for junk food - you can go swim............
By the way, KFC are offering a free front wiper mechanism with every bucket of salmonella.Genie

You underestimate Goldiespangles - he'll massage anyone with anything, he likes all that rubbing. He gave anewman a special rub down with goose fat as a Christmas present and then helped him to stuff his turkey. At least I think that is what he said, the line was noisy.............Genie

Never had a car fail for not having the wipers park.
I've owned a few that haven't, just turned them off at the bottom of the screen.
I've had one car that didn't even have a park on it, just an on off switch. (very old car, and many many years ago)0 -

no, all they do is mots and thats clear from the name of the company, he doesnt need to point it out to people. where he works they get an awful lot of business due to the fact that it's no interest to them if it passes or fails cos they make no money from repairs.'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0 -

I think they do park but in the vertical rather than horizontal position.
Assuming they do the same every time I would have thought the fix would be to take the arms off and reposition them (which should certainly be within the capabilities of KFC and probably even KF)
Or I might have misunderstood completely0 -
I think the problem was when they were switched off they stopped anywhere and not were she wanted, guessing.Google gives you answers use it.........0

i had a similar problem the 1st time i had an MOT - which was at kwik-fit, it turned out there was a problem which could not be fixed there (a part of my car had rusted underneath and made a hole) and i was told "oh the place down the road might fix it"... it was really expensive there and they could not fix it for a few days and i was left feeling a bit hopeless, luckily i managed to find a good local garage (plus the work was £60 instead on £100!) that does the full works, MOT and repairs so now i dont have to worry about taking it somewhere else for the re-test and paying the fee, i suggest finding somewhere that can do everything under 1 roof in future0

Garages vary - but you will be given ten working days (not including weekends and bank holidays) to get the vehicle repaired, that is the law. But if they charge you for a retest, that is up to them, we don't - but as I say, garages vary.
IS NOT THE CORRECT ANSWER. It all depends on the reason for failure. Some items are a free retest, others not and it is up to the garage if they choose not to charge for those which should be.0
