MOT retest question

  • Thanks all. Am off out now. Will take it back to original place for a retest (assuming I can rebook it in!) and never darken their door again...

I think the garage would be happy not to see you again.

When people book in my garage for an mot they get an mot, if it fails and the repairs can be done the same day then that's a bonus.

If a customer books in for an mot and advises a problem them time will be aloud for this. You said the problem was there days before so you should have asked the garage if it was a failure and could it be fixed on the same day.

You get what you ask for..........
Google gives you answers use it.........

I have not accused the OP of being 'stupid' just trying as I said before to find out EXACTLY what went on,

I think my post about KF was helpfull because I pointed out that she was correct to think that way about them,

the OP is s 'seasoned user of this site and there have been multiple posts about KF,

Jeez did you really have that bad a Xmas

What's Kentucky Fried chicken got to do with this thread?

If I spot something wrong with my car, I take it to a garage. Exactly what I did here.

Yes, you took it to a garage and asked them to do an MOT without mentioning the wipers!

You should have asked them to fix the wipers then do an MOT. Presumably they would have said they could not fix it and you could have gone somewhere else.

Nothing, because that's KFC. I've never heard anyone call it KF.

I think you are on a loser with this one - everyone seems to be in a picky mood... :D Maybe you have got a cheek to expect the garage to repair your car - I mean, how dare you! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Where I work - we feel obligated to repair the vehicle if it has failed - with the owners permission of course.............

yes HOW DARE anyone have the cheek to expect KWIK FIT to fix anything,:rotfl:

A garage with properly trained mechanics would be able to fix it and assume your wonderfull establishment would have done just that,as long as you had the CLEAR instructions to do so

NNOOOO the OP took the car to a KF(not KFC) there is no way in this world that a garage and KF bear any resemblance
