Have never missed a payment and only taken one mortgage holiday when DD1 got married. I used to overpay as well and thought that would go in our favour.

I know, i was just a bit confused about it all. We swapped from the Woolwich too on advice from a broker as one of the most flexible mortgages on the market. If i knew now and all that:eek:
According to their bumpf 90% of all the mortgages with them are ok too. Thing is if you tackle his debt for him when you are debt free, will he really learn anything. Or is his debt holding you back so much that you are prepared for doing his debt yourself, just so you can get a life back

Do you know i am really enjoying it- sort of gives me my mojo back:D As i can see where i am going and not floundering. Plus realising what had been paid off last year fair boosted me, despite all my whinging and moaning..so i can see the point when he says to me-but we are paying stuff off:rolleyes:
