    Love the quilt HMO.
I still need to be brave enough to start to make one. Think cutting out the squares/etc would be a good start! Just never seem to settle on what I want to do. Maybe I will have a mooch this afternoon and see if I can get a few fabrics together. On top of all the other jobs I should be doing, want to be doing and must do!!!

thank you i used a moda charm pack (5" squares) and bought moda cream by the mtr and cut that up into 5" squares to match

I love the quilt hmo. I saw the post about the Cath Kidston Sew book......I went and ordered it....really looking forward to it arriving but.....I am meant to be decluttering.....I am listing craft books I no longer want on Ebay today.....free listing weekend.
All my six children were down here at once....unusual occurrence so I have been busy but I did finish sewing in the fourteen School name tapes.
I also did my youngest Daughter's repairs and shortened a jumpsuit for my Dil's Sister and darned a pair of hubby's socks. My eldest Daughter gave me a top that needed a repair as well.
YD brought down a bag of clothes that she no loner wanted.....brings them to me first....I sort through them....keep anything I can use for sewing and take the rest (or rather hubby) carries them to the charity shop. There were a couple of items that needed repair so the charity shop could get more money for them......they were all Ted Baker/Monsoon/Next clothes......so I did the repairs.....now they sit in a bag in the hall....ready for Monday.
Finally I hot glued a hairband and reglittered it for my youngest Granddaughter followed by a family BBQ where I went on the trampoline with the Grandchildren.....I am 60 but try not to act it! icon7.gif

I decided to list my makes on fleabay and see if they sell. Nothing ventured nothing gained afterall. As its free insertions fees this weekend.
Would have done more but my joints are complaining now.
Back home tomorrow. Back to the sewing on Tuesday when DGD is in Nursery for a few hours.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
