    HMO, if its just for yourself rather than selling/gift and you want to make it cheaper (very MSE) you can make them from a metal tape measure. Link to a tute below.

    Pootle - love this idea. I've followed the link to Snap Happy bags and there is a picture for a tote bag using this closing method. I might have a go if my hubby still has his broken tape measure. If not I think B&Q sell them for about a £.

    Where I live we don't have the UK hang-up about this style.
    At our local market last week my neighbour was trying one on. She is 26 & stunningly beautiful.
    How many in the Uk would wear one, except at reenactment events?
