The purse should have taken about an hour to make but my sewing machine kept playing up so it took nearly 4 in the end and a lot of swearing from me :rotfl:

Lovely makes. Been away for the weekend, not long home, but thought I would have a quick read, while i gather my self together.
My sewing needs to be priority, but I am not feeling too well today, so I am on a bit of a back foot.
having trouble with my printer so the PDF's that i have stored are going to have to wait a bit longer.
The dress I made out of my BF's shirt, went well. I used a belt and a necklace with it, and when I wore it yesterday at BF's, the first thing he said whas that it was a nice dress. I said it was his shirt, and he was a little bit surprised. (He doesnt complement me on my clothes very much so thats a bonus.).When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Good about the dress Mooloo xx
Florence - I love the hair on your dolls, its lovely and the dolls are gorgeous xx
I finally picked up my quilting again yesterday, managed to get quite a bit more done, been too hot lately to do any of it. Havent been able to get up in my sewing room for a while either as OH been on nights again and have been too tired to do it after he has gone to work so looking forward to getting on with some more bits later in the week when he is back on days again.
Tamster - I have a lot of blue fabrics that I was thinking about using for another quilt. Might have a look for the Moda pattern and see if I have enough to do one with it.0 -
Still sitting undecided about anything that I want to do next. Or am able to do next.
Think the tablets are starting to kick in. (thank goodness).
I think I will set the bedroom TV into the work room, and see if I can do some cutting out of some bags/purses or something, that will get me going and ready for the rest of the week.
Its an effort to get moving. But move I must. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
