My car's broken :(. It's going to be a pain in the arris job to fix too. I hate that blimmin car :(. Never mind.
I've got a couple more coats of paint to do in my utility room and then I can get started on the blinds. Can't wait. Got DH to shift the WM and TD so I could paint and found a couple of MDF sheets so I am going to have a bash at doing something with them when it's all done to try and make a cork board or such like. It will get rid of all the stuff from the fridge at least.
I don't remember if it was hmo or hart who made one recently? Using a pale blue fabric with ribbon front. Did you follow an online tutorial? I would need some wadding or such like to pad it out otherwise it won't hold pins. Or I could make a(nother) chalk board to go in my utility room. DH got me a fab one for my birthday and I bought myself one a few months ago but another one can't hurt surely? I have grout in the car which I can mix up with some paint to make the chalkboard surface. Then frame it and make it look pretty. I like that idea too. Tired now, waiting for the bath so I can get off to bed. Night all :)

Nope I am Manchester :) I spend more time tidying than anything else I love making things look neat and tidy it is quite sad really!

Thats not sad, just shows a methological mind!.
(think thats the right word). I am a scatter brain, and therefore live in chaos, get annoyed with it, blitz promising I will not do it again, wishing for a "magaizne cover" of a home, and never achieving it, as one task too many half the time!.

My latest copy of Sew Magazine arrived on Saturday with the incorrect pattern which was some what frustrating, however I emailed the editor, and on Tuesday I had a personal reply. Today the pattern has arrived in the post. So I have my mind set on making a maxi dress for my 5oth birthday coming up next month.
I am just about getting the use of my arm back today.
I hope that this evening I will be able to get back at the sewing machine and finish off the things I have cut out, and make DGD an elf hat for Saturday.

Taken the day off work today and had my new Brother 1034D Overlocker delivered this morning, brilliant service only ordered it yesterday morning and told it would be here today, got a text at 9am to say be with me in an hour and he was, great!
Been looking at DVD and instruction book, it's a bit frightening but dare say when I get going it will be o.k. Need to bit the bullet and have a go instead of sitting looking at it.
My mum is going off on her holi's and got a pile of skirts she wants me to shorten with the new machine. Her first holi for years and she's 88.
