I have been sorting out my emails, and the one from the homeschooling site have posted a link to a Sewing For beginners book on line. Thats free access. Its not a pdf file so its one to possibly bookmark for dipping in and out of? http://www.craftandfabriclinks.com/sewingbook/sewbook.html

Hope your daughters move to uni goes well it is stressful at first but she sounds very sensible and organised so she will be alright. I can't believe how useless some people on my course are so many people have failed this year and purely because they haven't even tried.

Back on topic :P Here is to embroidery I did while I was away.

Its always so much money expected from the young isnt it. Well you will have to do some sewing to get that kind of money in a month! eek. Make sure if you are selling your stuff that you get a good price for it, so that you arent sewing for nothing.! (Says me who spent 6 hours sewing for the nursery!:o). Charity begins at home though when times are getting tough. I dont have money or the ability to ask work collegues and friends/family to do the sponsored things that the schools come up with, so donating my time and skills is my way of helping. :D

Sharon I will come tidy it for you! I love tidying and organising I have spent ages recently making the most of the space in my craft room it makes me quite sad to think I only have it for a few more months and then we will move and I will leave it all behind.

Going to get back into the sewing mojo today and get lots done hopefully.

Do you live in the West Midlands? I could do with you next week as I have to tackle my room. Turning it from a spare room with craft cupboard (read that as dumping room) into a nice clean and tidy craft room.

It's not sad it's to be admired. Once I have it clean and tidy I can keep it that way. At the moment it has boxes in from the kitchen still. I'll get there but it may take a bit of time.

I've cut out my bag but haven't done any sewing as I had to work all day today. Also working tomorrow but hopefully only until 3pm so should manage to do a bit of sewing tomorrow.
