Not really sewing, but I've repurposed cotton from bedding and curtains for these projects

The first one is 6" and the second 3" so quite fiddly.

    they are great x

    Thank you :D
The cathedral window quilts have points like that (my friend had made one) it looks complicated but after reading how to do it it's not that bad but I will start with a cushion cover 1st :rotfl:

Finding it hard to keep up with everything, and every thread I am subscribed too!
Have altered a top for a friend, taken in two pairs of mens jeans for BF, not simple todo. And mended his daughters jeggins. Made an apron for DGD while at BF's as didnt remember to take her one.
Bought2 hot water bottles ready for covers. £1.98! spend.

Looked for curtain fabric, but didnt buy.
Going to get my spare machine serviced as it was very ropey. (£35 service, unless anything needs replacing,).
Have machine on and a few hearts cut out for lavender bags. Pinks, blues and orange ones.

Have the Tilda books too. spent weekend humming and harring as to what I would like to make next.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Does anybody know where I can find free patterns for making a pirate costume for an adult female (me!)? Or a pattern for one of those frilly skirts that you put netting under? I'm going on a hen do in May and it's going to be an expensive weekend, so trying to cut down on the cost for the fancy dress outfit for me and a friend.
Take a look in the 'cut out + keep' website in the costumes section. They may have one there.

hi dont know if this is any help but for my dd new room i did roman blinds out of a duvet set, then i made a cushion from the left over fabric and a lavender heart quilted to hang on her bathroom door.

i also made a storage hamper/bin from fabric i recovered her headboard in.

i have also done bunting but i didnt like it in her room so may have to put it in the craft room.

all photos on my blog link under my name on left

Thanks, the house print fabric on the storage bin is lovely!

We have big 1.8mt windows so have a roller blind. But I think maybe some of those organza flowers someone else linked to sewn along the edge will pretty them up a bit.

No sewing for me, DD ended up giving us a big scare and being taken to hospital by ambulance. Her bedroom is all painted and teh carpet is down and the furnature is in. Just to move things to where I want them (DH build everything up) and then I can get on with the pretties!

And because I have a short attention span, I'm wondering if I can make a bed for her baby dolls. They have no bed and they are sad :( I think an empty nappy box cut in half and covered in left over fabric and cheap fleece is the way forward here :D
