I am lucky enough to have a branch near me so have never had to order via the net. The service in the shop is always good.0 -
I was wondering where everyone had gone - thought you had all dissapeared to the FlyingPig Thread I posted lol!
I am making slow progress on my Nieces' Quilts for Christmas. Lots of coughs & colds in this house so that means lots of getting up in the night for me. I have been too tired to sew some nights, but I have two more quilts nearly finished - just can't decide on whether to have borders or not.0 -

yes thankyou, but i like all the ones that are £45 and £49. i like the ones that have the hinges same colour as the wood. Not the wood with black.
But thankyou so much for looking.0 -

I love the old cantilever ones, especially with the black! Still hoping to find one at a carboot. Actually I saw one a few years ago that was full of goodies but the stall holder wanted £4 for it and I ummed & arrd over it. She wouldn't budge on the price & I wasn't really into my sewing then so I declined.
Have been looking for one ever since
I remember someone on here being bought a brand new one for a gift by their DH but had had their heart set on a vintage one...possibly Kandi?? Can't remember if they kept it or not (getting old smiley)0 -
