Ooh, can't wait! :T :j
How big is it going to be?0 -
I's going to be big, but not huge. My dining table is 119 cm x 74 cm so I think it's going to be about that or maybe double that depending on how the template looks when I offer it up to the wall.0

Wow Alec - you managed to read the WHOLE thread! I did that about 100 hundred+ pages ago and it must of taken me 2 weeks! I keep meaning to go back and make a copy of all the links - I got too page 10 and then stopped lol!
This thread is like waiting for a bus - some days there are hardly any posts and then others (like today) I have 3 pages to catch up on lol!
Hart have you looked on the Moda Bakeshop http://www.modabakeshop.com/p/recipes.html
for ideas? I bought some very similar fabric to your first photo (pink & dark blues) at a craft show the other week. Not sure what do with it yet either!
I have just finished another quilt top - first Christmas pressie out of the way. But there has been a bit of a love/hate thing going on, will explain more on my blog once I get round to updating it! (and take some pics)0 -

Hart you could put a border around your backing if you have no luck at the CS.
Here is my latest quilt, not really what I had imagined but it is one less Christmas Pressie to worry about
I still have to quilt it, so maybe I will like it more when it is totally finished! More about it on my blog0 -
wow thats really nice. is each little square 4 stripes of fabric sown on the angle ?
i've bought more cushions from poundland today. hoping to make 3 more patchwork cushions for my sofas tonight. hopefully i can get to town next week and grab a couple more cushions so i can make some two more for my dd bed. i'm still trying to find a felt dinosaur or something. so i can make a couple fleece cushion with aplique dinosaurs on for my two boys beds.
i have some plain purple cotton which i'm thinking of making into cushions then prehaps doings some sequin or ribbon detail, but i'm not sure yet . does anyone know of any sites which could give me some inspiration. i kinda know what i want but i don't know if that makes sence.0 -
