That's a shame, how's about putting a wanted ad in a local shop?

SEGGA1986 - those are lovely. Both my DDs (age 14 and 5) love pink. Actually I love pink too - hot pink especially! I painted our youngest DD's bedroom recently in pink. Unfortunately she still have a yellow curtain, and we desperately need more suitable furniture for her. At the moment she's sleeping on her mattress on the flloor as it's from her cot bed and she's outgrown the bed. I really need to get her a divan with drawers in it as her bedroom is tiny. The wardrobe she has is falling apart and is too big for her room anyway. Unfortunately we have no money so there's nothing we can do about it.

I assume that is your duvet which they are lying on? Where did you get that from? It's gorgeous!

have look at this thread some gorgeous furniture painted

Segga1986; Do you have car boots or thrifty shops near you. They are often a good place for picking up sewing boxes.

Just started a blog if anybody wants to take a peek!

Hart, that book looks good just had a quick nosy and already think why haven't I done that before. Ironing the interfacing on before cutting out the pattern.
I have always cut them separately then ironed. Can't see that I would be wasting any more interfacing.

  • Hi all.
I'm just starting sock moneky no. 3, by hand... Not sure how he'll turn out but hoping with all that I can that he is good. Really want to feel like I've achieved something when he's done.
1 & 2 were okay but nothing to get too excited about unfortunately :(
    Wish me luck!
