I've been inspired by all your makes, so this weekend I made myself a bag. The outside is a skirt which someone gave me, and the binding round the edge is from another skirt which was given to me. The lining is an old curtain lining which someone else gave me. The only things I had to buy were the cord for inside the binding and the magnetic closure. I already had the interfacing and the wadding.
My eldest dd likes it so much I've given it to her :rotfl: I'm going to make myself another one from my stash. I might make the handles a bit longer too this time.0 -

I bought them ages ago, but this is the first time I've used one :rotfl:0 -

Exactly what I need when I'm sewing.
Scrap bag
No tutorial i'm afraid I bought a kit ages ago from here and made one for myself, I then re used the instructions and found new material for the one pictured.
It's so handy I use mine all the time. I've tried looking for a tutorial but not found one unfortunately.

I made mine using this tutorial

its great but make sure you add enough weight to the pincushion to weigh it down as the pockets and the stuff you put in there will pull it forward. I've got rice in mine but I'd be inclined to use gravel next time!0 -

Think they both link to the same tutorial
Good tip about the weight - thanks :rotfl:Jack of all trades ... Master of none

Cuddles I have the Toyota 50 with extension table. I have had it for coming up two years and I love it to pieces
The walking foot is fantastic and the decorative stitches are great too
I hope you have lots of fun with it
Just wondering if you can tell me if standard plastic spools fit this machine?
The ones that came with it seem a fraction larger?Jack of all trades ... Master of none
