Love this idea - did you follow a tutorial?
Exactly what I need when I'm sewing.

Have sewn a chenille sock to make a sock monkey tonight. Took about 6 minutes and was sooooooooooo easy.
Really stretchy loopy material and no problem at all.
Plan to try fleece, which is notoriously difficult to sew, and also make curtains - sewing on tape will mean going through 3 thicknesses of fabric and 2 thicknesses of tape in places, so a good test.:)
Have also tried out all the different stitches - brilliant
Just need to read up on blind hems etc to use them.:p

gingerandrubarb wrote: »Sorry if this seems silly but what is the difference between an 'overlocker' and a 'sewing machine' i hadn't heard of an overlocker until 3 weeks ago

An overlocker finishes ends and seams off and has a blade that slices off the excess material (thats the non technical explanation!)0 -
I love minky too, that listing is just for fleece though. Minky is also sold as Velboa and the cheapest I have found is here .gingerandrubarb wrote: »post pics, would love to see the little guy/girl, i think i may try  one tomorrow now, i will post pics even if it looks like a blob :rotfl:
