My DS has done his first bit of sewing!
He actully sat still and did it for about 15 mins which is quite something for him.
OK it's not up to the standard on here yet but bless him, he's only 2!0 -
Georgiabay; That's a big shame, how frustrating. Sure you will think of something else he can be used for he's so cute. Still we learn by our mistakes.......so I'm told anyway! Next one will be absolutely perfect :0)
xxvickixx; catch them young I say, bless him and he sat for 15 mins. doing it. My g/d cant sit still for 15 seconds and she's 2 as well. You will have a stitching buddy before he's much older.0 -
Vicki, your sons sewing is really sweet, could you embroider his name age and the date on it and frame it, it would be a lovely keepsake.0

Hi, I was wandering round the web and I found this site with free patterns for projects for children. As far as I can see it hasn't been mentioned on here before:
http://www.buttonbag.co.uk/free-projects.php
in particular there is a pattern for a cute hood for children with animal ears, although I can't look at it myself as pdf's never open on this computer.0 -

What kind of needle did you let your DS use? My DGD is 2 and wants to help granny with her work? But I was thinking she was far too young yet! I may have to think again!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
