they are good quality 'modern designer' and i would not, and could not (!) afford to buy a whole meter of any of them as they all retail at £10+ per meter!
:money:So for £2.00 i got about a quarter of a meter in each bundle, which is 50p less than the price of a standard designer fat quarter, and also got lots of different prints not just a whole lot of one pattern
I'm told the bundle below includes Alexander Henry's Juicy Jungle, some japanese prints and some from Kokka. Now I dont really care about designer fabrics, and do usually prefer upcycled fabrics from clothes ect, but these arent the sort of print that usually turns up in charity shops!
ooh poo I missed out - after seeing your gorgeous bundles I will ned to get some myself.r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
I've just come across this shop for on-line fabric at a reasonable price. 'The Remnant House' in Harrogate.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

Inspired by the taggies today and Bibbity's UJ bureau on the Shabby Chic thread, I've made this one for an old schoolfriend who's just about to become a Daddy to a little boy.
I'm going to make a pink version for another friend who had a little girl last week.0 -

really must learn how to do this. so cute and so professional looking, you must be selling these somewhere?!
That's very nice of you to say. I am very busy with my sock monkeys at the moment, but I am looking at expanding my range and I love doing applique so got some ideas going0 -
...And the girls one:
Thanks so much for the idea, my friends all seem to be having babies at an alarming rate so now I can give them all a little something without it costing heaps.0 -
All those taggies are lovely, wish they were about when my kids were little.0

Thanks Pennib, I just hope they like them. It's quite scary giving something you've made. I think I've been unlucky so far with who I chose to give them to, I'd just be so happy with a handmade gift myself I forget that not everyone is so soft!0
