just been speaking to them as my mate ordered some and put it on my order - they were really really helpful - and remembered to ask this time about the lining fabric which is 50p a metre - they have loads left of that so ordered 5 metres - they are nearly all different ones that I have ordered - apart from the brown chenille I ordered 4m of that to reupholster my dining room chairs when the need comes ( have not long since done them but with two little tikes around its a regualr thing)0

The 18 hearts I managed to make yesterday.
Just been naughty and ordered a lot of fabrics from the plumbs site, thanks for that link. Got 20metres of lining. So that will help me extend some of my makes. As I cannot always make everything from charity buys, and it is loosley recycling, as it is remenants that would otherwise be wasted?!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
oh wow - love your hearts and that fabric is really pretty0

I hope they still have some in a couple a weeks, going away tomorrow but need to make some curtains soon so I'll check it out when I come back. If anyone gets theirs delivered can they let us know what the quality is like?0

rubbish really I know - esp if you look close but I just sat and played and played it reminded me of papercrafting in a way putting things together in pieces - the cream back layer of the house I did right sides together and then turned inside out once sewn so that it wouldnt fray but then the other bits I wanted to have the frayed effect even made it do it more on the windows - think I need a door knob to finish it off - lol0

danemi1; I saw your link to plumbs but could only see one page so I thought that was all, will go back and investigate more.....25 metres wow!
r.mac; see what you mean about your unfinished projects....think going back to the 50's with your mums u.f.p. must be the longest one on here!! Can you undo the sweaters and re-knit them into summat else? The skirt material could be re-cycled, or, fashion comes and goes bet it would be right upto date now!0 -
daneme1; that bag is cute. I really like the base material, do you have anything else made
in that fabric? What ya going to use it for? Sometimes when you play about with fabric you can get a really happy accident, same as painting!!
mooloo; Are the hearts for you stall in your village, bet they will sell quickly. I have got some lavender drying off to make a lavender pillow/heart (to try and help me sleep better)0 -
