Spooky, last night I decided to draw up some heart shapes from my Cath K, book, and stuffed them with the vitorian Scented Pot pourri that was mentioned some time last week. I think I ordered it on Saturday and it arrived yesterday. The scent is very christmassy, so I used some christmas fabric and some Liberty fabrics that I had hanging around my bedroom.
I also started an oven glove with some prequilted fabric that I found in a charity shop. I will have to finish it and get the camera out.
I am so tempted to buy the lovely fabrics that everyone are posting about, but I had made up my mind that all the fabrics I use would be recylced in one way or another, so I am using what I have or what was/is found in charity shops, or clothes I am lucky enough to be given. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I am like you I get a lot of fabric from charity shops or recycle clothes and have to hold myself back when someone post links to wonderful fabric sites
but if I keep doing these extra shifts at work I will treat myself next month
to make up for a lack of sewing this month
My sewing projects are stacking up at the moment and Im getting withdrawal symptoms :rotfl:Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time
and Love sewing

I love the idea of a heart garland artydoll. I made a heart with a pocket then popped a fabric conditioner sheet in it and hung it on the radiator.0
